Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-per-view for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), as well as Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, separate beds may be available. The well-thought-out design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the entire cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or sometimes portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the sea-view cabins provide space for 2 to 4 people (some have separate beds). Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The well-thought-out design and spacious feeling make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Features include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the "Pummid’Oro" pizzeria, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," and the "Laboratorio del Gusto," where selected dishes can be prepared by oneself (partly for a fee and with reservation). Meal times in the main restaurants are determined by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is complemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers varied moments of enjoyment for every taste.

The MyItalian indulgence package can be booked in addition to the full board services. This includes a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni, and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano, as well as beer, soft drinks, and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, brandies, and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna, and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé, and white wines, Prosecco, and Spumante. The offer is complemented by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The drink package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underscores the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and strength equipment enable sports activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court and a jogging track are also available, offering numerous opportunities for movement and sports activities in the open air. This allows activity, relaxation, and the holiday experience on the Costa Smeralda to be optimally combined.

Sports for a fee

For additional sports activities, various classes such as yoga, Pilates, and Kinesis are available in the aerobic studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional support can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). This allows your personal fitness program to be flexibly arranged even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok children's club. While the youngest guests can let off steam in the Mini Club (3–6 years) with games and creative activities, the Maxi Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activity program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games, and meeting points. Thus, young guests find the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied vacation days.
The offer is complemented by a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which ensures additional leisure fun on board.

Wellness

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) extends over around 6,000 m² across four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, a solarium, and multiple whirlpools.
The wellness offer is rounded off by varied wellness, beauty, and massage treatments, which invite you to relaxing breaks and pure regeneration in a stylish ambiance.

Entertainment

Spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a disco, and a casino for guests aged 18 and over provide varied entertainment. The diverse onboard program offers numerous opportunities for enjoyable hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including a covered pool area and a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with multiple water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 meters, which enables impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme evenings, interactive events, and other onboard events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable vacation moments.

Lucky cabin: When booking a Lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside, or balcony cabin) is selected; the assignment of the cabin number and deck is done by Costa. This may include cabins with separate beds, connecting doors, limited views, or barrier-free cabins. The dining time in the main restaurants is also determined by Costa.

Hotel complex with a pool, surrounded by palm trees and tall buildings near the coast.
Centrally located in Playa del Inglés, it is approx. 900 m to the kilometer-long sandy beach (free shuttle bus to the beach, subject to availability).
Shopping facilities, restaurants, and disco pubs are approx. 200 m away.
The airport is approx. 29 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, with 724 rooms and an international audience, features an entrance area with reception, mini-market, hairdresser, buffet restaurant with a small terrace, and a lobby bar. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.
In the outdoor area, there are 2 swimming pools (heatable in winter) with a sun terrace, loungers, and parasols, a children's pool, and a splash park, as well as 2 pool bars and a small adults-only area.
