Accommodation

Inside cabin

The modern and functionally furnished inside cabins of the Costa Smeralda offer a comfortable setting for relaxing days at sea. Features include air conditioning, interactive satellite TV (pay-TV for a fee), bathroom with shower and WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee) as well as Wi-Fi (for a fee).
With a size of approx. 13 m², the inside cabins offer space for up to four people. Depending on the cabin location and category, some cabins have separate beds. The thoughtful design ensures a pleasant atmosphere and high living comfort throughout the cruise.

Outside cabin

The outside cabins of the Costa Smeralda have a large window or, in some cases, portholes and offer a beautiful sea view. With a size of approx. 20 m², the ocean-view cabins offer space for 2 to 4 people (some with separate beds). Facilities include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. The thoughtful design and generous sense of space make the outside cabin a comfortable retreat during the cruise.

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabins of the Costa Smeralda combine modern living comfort with a private outdoor area and a magnificent view of the sea. The private balcony invites you to enjoy the fresh sea air and impressive views in a relaxed atmosphere.
The cabins are approx. 17 m² in size (plus balcony) and offer space for 2 to 4 people. Facilities include air conditioning, satellite TV, bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe as well as a minibar and Wi-Fi for a fee. Some cabins are equipped with separate beds.

Meals

Full board

On board, a total of 11 restaurants provide culinary variety with specialties from all over the world. These include a buffet restaurant, the pizzeria "Pummid’Oro", the Teppanyaki Restaurant, the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" and the "Laboratorio del Gusto", where you can prepare selected dishes yourself (partly for a fee and with reservation). Table times in the main restaurants are set by Costa.
The gastronomic offer is supplemented by 19 bars and cafés (for a fee), including the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, the Sports Bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlors. Thus, the Costa Smeralda offers diverse moments of enjoyment for every taste.

The MyItalian enjoyment package can be booked in addition to the full board services. This includes a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for any time of day. These include cocktails such as Aperol Spritz, Campari Spritz, Negroni and Martini cocktails, high-quality coffee specialties from Caffè Vergnano as well as beer, soft drinks and mineral water.
Also included are selected liqueurs, spirits and bitters, including Limoncello, Grappa, Averna and Ramazzotti, as well as Italian red, rosé and white wines, Prosecco and Spumante. The offer is rounded off by homemade Italian ice cream and selected culinary specialties. The drinks package ensures varied moments of enjoyment and underscores the Italian lifestyle on board the Costa Smeralda.

Sports included

The extensively and modernly equipped fitness center with a magnificent sea view offers ideal conditions for daily training on board. Various cardio and strength machines allow for sports activities in a pleasant atmosphere.
In the outdoor area, a multi-purpose sports court and a jogging track are available, offering numerous possibilities for exercise and sporting balance under the open sky. This allows for an optimal combination of activity, relaxation and holiday experience on the Costa Smeralda.

Sports for a fee

For additional sports activities, various courses such as yoga, Pilates and Kinesis are available in the aerobics studio (for a fee). Furthermore, individual training sessions with professional supervision can be booked in the fitness center (for a fee). This allows your personal fitness program to be designed flexibly even during the cruise.

Children's program

For children and teenagers, the Costa Smeralda offers a varied and age-appropriate leisure program in the popular Squok Kids Club. While the youngest guests can let off steam with games and creative activities in the Mini Club (3–6 years), the Maxi Club (7–11 years) provides a diverse entertainment and activity program.
For teenagers, the Teen Junior Club (12–14 years) and the Teen Club (15–17 years) are available with age-appropriate activities, games and meeting points. This allows young guests the best conditions to make new friends and spend varied holiday days.
The offer is supplemented by a children's paddling pool and an entertainment area with video games (for a fee), which ensures additional fun on board.

Wellness

The Samsara Spa (for a fee) covers around 6,000 m² over four decks and offers an exclusive oasis of relaxation at sea. Facilities include a thermal bath, a thalassotherapy pool, saunas, a Turkish steam bath, solarium and several whirlpools.
The wellness offer is rounded off by a variety of wellness, beauty and massage treatments that invite you to have relaxing breaks and pure regeneration in a stylish ambiance.

Entertainment

Varied entertainment is provided by spectacular shows in the theater, live music, a piano bar, a discotheque as well as a casino for guests aged 18 and over. The diverse on-board program offers numerous opportunities for entertaining hours at sea during the day and in the evening.
For relaxation and swimming fun, four pools are available, including a covered pool area as well as a separate swimming deck. Special highlights include the Aqua Park with several water slides and water attractions as well as the spectacular Skywalk at a height of about 65 meters, which offers impressive views of the sea.
The leisure offer is rounded off by atmospheric theme nights, interactive events and other on-board events that ensure sociable hours and unforgettable holiday moments.

Lucky Cabin: When booking a lucky cabin, the desired cabin category (inside, outside or balcony cabin) is chosen, and the assignment of the cabin number and deck is done by Costa. This may include cabins with separate beds, connecting doors, restricted views, or barrier-free cabins. Table times in the main restaurants are also set by Costa.

Centrally located in Playa del Inglés, it is approx. 900 m to the kilometer-long sandy beach (free shuttle bus to the beach, subject to availability).

The airport is approx. 29 km away.

Facilities

The hotel with 724 rooms and an international audience features a reception area, mini-market, hairdresser, buffet restaurant with a small terrace, and a lobby bar. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.
