Location

Centrally located in the quiet resort of La Herradura. The hotel is situated directly on the seafront, close to the two beaches of Cerro Gordo and Marina del Este. It is separated from the coarse pebble beach "Playa de la Herradura" only by the promenade. Almuñecar, with its restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment facilities, is approximately 5 km away (about 10 minutes on foot). La Herradura is about 500 m away and Almuñecar about 8 km. An ATM is only about 5 minutes from the hotel. Malaga Airport is approximately 84 km away.

The small 4-star hotel belonging to the Meliá Hotels International chain, with a family atmosphere, has a total of 43 rooms. Arrival by car

Directions from Malaga Airport (AGP):
Leave the airport grounds and take the N-340 towards Malaga. Then take the exit towards Motril/Granada/Almería and join the A-7. You will go through a tunnel and then merge towards Almería/Motril (the road splits into four lanes, please choose the two left lanes). Drive past Rincón de la Victoria, Torrox, Nerja until the motorway ends at La Herradura. Continue on the coastal road towards Almería/Motril. Turn right at the first traffic light towards the beach. The Hotel Sol los Fenicios is located on the left end of the promenade and is signposted. Approx. 83 km.
