Built in an Andalusian style, the hotel is located directly on the dunes of "Playa la Barrosa" beach, right next to the 36-hole golf course. A small shopping center with restaurants and bars is nearby. A public bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. The distance to Jerez de la Frontera Airport is approx. 62 km and to Seville Airport it is approx. 145 km.

Double rooms with partial sea view (visible from the balcony), private terrace, and pool access (DA/ID2) are equipped like the standard double rooms but are located on the ground floor and have direct access to the main pool.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for security reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen imposes a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.

Double room partial sea view Deluxe

Schauinsland-Reisen original: The double rooms with partial sea view Deluxe (DPM) have the same features as the double rooms with partial sea view, with the following additional amenities: welcome gift, 1x per person/week entry to the spa (also for children), and early check-in/late check-out (subject to availability).

Double room sea view

The double rooms with sea view (DY2,MDA) have the same features as the double rooms and are located on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. These rooms do not face the sea directly, but the sea is visible from the room.

Double room Sharing Pool

The double rooms with sharing pool (SH2,SH3) have the same features as the double rooms but are located on the ground floor with direct access to a pool exclusively for guests of this room category.
Rooms with direct pool/sea access present an increased safety risk for small children.
Therefore, for security reasons, Schauinsland-Reisen imposes a minimum age of 6 years for children when booking these room types.
Please note that your booked room features direct access to the sharing pool and there is no lifeguard on duty there. If traveling with children or non-swimmers, you are responsible for their supervision.

Double room sea view Priority Location

The double rooms with sea view Priority Location (2PY/2AY) have the same features as the double rooms but are in a preferred location and feature sea view (not frontal) as well as a balcony/terrace.

Junior suite

With the same features as the double rooms, the junior suites (JS2,J2A) are somewhat more spacious, located on the 2nd floor, and additionally include a living room with a sofa bed and seating area, a bathroom with a shower and hydromassage bathtub, a coffee machine, and a separate bedroom. Junior suites located on the 3rd floor with sea view can be booked for an extra charge (J2M,JMA).

Suite sea view Beachfront

The suites consist of a spacious, separate bedroom with a king-size bed, a living room with a sofa, and a balcony or terrace with loungers. They feature a bathroom with hydromassage and shower/WC, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee machine, and telephone. The suites have a frontal sea view (partially restricted) and are located directly on the beach. They are situated on the ground, first, or second floor (F2W/BFA).

Suite Superior Beachfront

The suites consist of two spacious, separate bedrooms with a king-size bed, a living room with a sofa, and a balcony or terrace with loungers. They feature two bathrooms (1 with Jacuzzi & 1 with hydromassage) and shower/WC, safe, minibar (for a fee), coffee machine, and telephone. The suites have a frontal sea view (partially restricted) and are located directly on the beach. They are situated on the ground, first, or second floor (UM2/U2M).

Single room

The single rooms are double rooms for single use (DE/DEB).

Arrival by car

Directions from Malaga Airport (AGP):
Leave the airport grounds and drive onto the N-340 towards Cádiz, follow this road for approx. 1.5 km to the A-7 highway ramp towards Algeciras/Cádiz. After the town of Benalmádena, the highway splits into four lanes; please stay in the right lane to remain on the A-7. Alternatively, take the AP-7, which is a toll road and leads in the same direction. Always follow the road towards Algeciras. Upon arriving in Algeciras (approx. 120 km from Malaga Airport), the highway ends and automatically becomes a national road (N-340 Cádiz). Now always follow this coastal road towards Cádiz. Drive past Tarifa, later past Vejer de la Frontera and Conil de la Frontera until you see the exit "Playa la Barrosa" after Conil. Leave the N-340 road there and drive towards "Playa la Barrosa". This road leads you to the hotel zone of Novo Sancti Petri/La Barrosa. There you will find all hotels on the coastal road. Heading south, you will reach the hotels: Iberostar Royal Andaluz and Iberostar Andalucía Playa (both hotels share the same entrance).
Directions from Jerez de la Frontera Airport (XRY):
Leave the airport grounds and drive onto the A-4 towards Jerez de la Frontera/Cádiz (please cross the bridge). You pass through the city of Jerez and shortly after you see a hospital on the right side, this road becomes a 4-lane expressway (A-4 towards Cádiz/Algeciras). It then automatically becomes a 2-lane national road again. Drive straight ahead (A-4 Cádiz/Algeciras). At the end of this road, there is a sharp right turn that you must automatically take. This curve is also a highway entrance (towards Algeciras A 48/E-15). Please follow the highway to Chiclana. At the exit "La Barrosa", leave the highway and go left at the roundabout towards "La Barrosa". This road leads you to the hotel zone of Novo Sancti Petri/La Barrosa. There you will find all hotels on the coastal road. Heading south, you will reach the hotels: Iberostar Royal Andaluz and Iberostar Andalucia Playa (both hotels share the same entrance).
Directions from Seville Airport (SVQ):
Leave the airport grounds and drive towards Cadiz A4 and then get onto the AP4 (toll fee). After approx. 80 km, the AP4 passes Jerez, and after another 30 km you will see the exit "San Fernando/Algeciras". Here, leave the highway, reach a roundabout, and continue following the signs for "Algeciras/A4". You are now on the national road A4 and will pass the towns of "San Fernando" and "Chiclana" before leaving the A4 at the exit "Playa La Barrosa". From here, please follow the signs for "La Barrosa". After approx. 10 km, you will reach the hotel zone of Novo Sancti Petri/La Barrosa. There you will find all hotels on the coastal road. Heading south, you will reach the hotels: Iberostar Royal Andaluz and Iberostar Andalucia Playa (both hotels share the same entrance). Driving time approx. 50 min.
