Location

The Fuerte El Rompido hotel is located in a quiet area, in the middle of the Rio Piedras Natural Park. The approximately 12 km long, unspoiled and natural beach "Playa Flecha del Rompido" can be reached by shuttle boat (1 round trip per person per day included during high season, subject to availability, across the lagoon-like river estuary; the boat landing is approx. 5 minutes' walk away, departures every 30 minutes). Spectacular views in a natural landscape and golf opportunities near the fishing village of El Rompido, approx. 1 km away, are available here. The nearest bus and train station is approx. 23 km away (Huelva). Faro Airport is approx. 130 km away. Jerez Airport is approx. 212 km away. Seville Airport can be reached after approx. 133 km.

The 4-star hotel, built in Andalusian style by the Fuerte Group hotel chain, offers a total of 299 rooms spread over 6 floors. Facilities include a brightly designed reception area with a 24-hour reception and seating areas, 6 elevators, a lounge with an internet corner (for a fee), 4 event/conference rooms, a TV room, a souvenir shop, a boutique, a hairdresser, the "El Olivo" restaurant, the "Dosfaros" restaurant (open seasonally from mid-June to mid-September daily from 11 am to 7 pm/times may vary), the "Noble" bar with an outdoor terrace. In the well-maintained outdoor area with a garden, there are two swimming pools with sun terraces. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge to hotel guests in the pool area (for a fee on the beach, offered by local providers).

Children's Program

Mini club (for children aged 4-12, seasonally during the summer season) with many activities for the little ones (e.g.: football, volleyball, games, table tennis, cinema, mini disco, shows, etc.). Separate children's pool with a water slide and a playroom, children's playground. High chairs for toddlers are provided in the restaurants subject to availability.
