Costa "Sea Destinations" – Exclusive Experiences at Sea
Discover unforgettable "Sea Destinations" with Costa Cruises – selected moments where your ship slows down or pauses at significant locations. Directly at sea, you can experience extraordinary events, including stargazing, atmospheric themed parties, and many other exclusive onboard events. These highlights are already included in the cruise price and offer you magical moments and fascinating perspectives in the middle of the sea.

Meals

A total of 11 restaurants serve delicacies from all over the world, including, for example, a buffet restaurant, the Teppanyaki restaurant, Pizzeria Pummid’Oro, as well as the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" and the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Workshop), where you prepare your own dinner before enjoying it (some with reservation and for a fee). Your dining time will be set by Costa. In addition, there are 19 different bars (for a fee), such as the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, a sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlors (for a fee) complete the culinary offerings.

Entertainment

Costa Smeralda offers its guests an extensive entertainment program that leaves nothing to be desired. The majestic theater at the front of the ship hosts breathtaking performances every evening, making each night a special experience. Adrenaline junkies can try their luck in the stylish casino, exclusively for guests aged 18 and over, while the disco and piano bar promise atmospheric music and convivial evenings.
For water fun and pure adventure, guests have four pools at their disposal, including an indoor swimming pool and a special swimming deck for a quiet retreat. The lively aqua park with exciting slides and a spectacular skywalk at a height of 65 meters promise thrills and fun. Themed nights on deck and interactive shows complete the diverse leisure offerings, providing opportunities for joyful participation and unforgettable shared experiences.

Cabins

Inside Cabin

Onboard Costa Smeralda, you will stay in modern and functionally furnished cabins with the highest comfort. They are air-conditioned and offer an interactive satellite TV with PayTV (not included), a bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for a fee), Wi-Fi (for a fee).
The inside cabins are approx. 13m² and can accommodate 2 to 4 people. (some with twin beds).

Outside Cabin

Large windows (some portholes) in the sea view cabins offer a great view and invite you to enjoy the first rays of sunshine of the day. Sea view cabins are approx. 20m² and can accommodate 2 to 4 guests (some with twin beds).

Balcony Cabin

The balcony cabin impresses with its direct view of the water and offers a private atmosphere with the best comfort on your private balcony. The cabins are approx. 17m² plus the balcony.

Hotel notice

Guaranteed Cabin: You choose between an inside, outside, or balcony cabin; Costa will assign the specific cabin and deck. These may include cabins with twin beds, accessible cabins, cabins with obstructed views, or connecting doors. Dining times will also be set by Costa.

Location

The 4-star hotel is located in the hotel district of Malgrat de Mar, only approx. 150 m from the beach and approx. 500 m from the town center. Barcelona Airport is approx. 60 km away and Girona Airport is approx. 30 km away.

Facilities

The adults-only hotel has a total of 301 rooms on 6 floors, a 24-hour reception, 3 elevators, changing rooms with showers, luggage storage rooms, conference rooms, Wi-Fi (included), 2 bars, and an air-conditioned buffet restaurant. In the outdoor area, there is a large garden with 3 swimming pools. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for hotel guests by the pool.

Design Double Room

The double rooms (approx. 25 m²) have a bathroom with shower, cosmetic mirror and hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, minibar (for a fee), safe (included), free Wi-Fi, satellite TV (flat-screen TV), telephone, and a furnished balcony, towel service for the pool (D).

Single Room

Single rooms are double rooms for single occupancy (DE).

Premium Double Room

The Premium Double Rooms have the same amenities as the Double Rooms and offer a guaranteed pool view (PDZ).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites have the same amenities as the double rooms but are larger (approx. 38 m²), some are loft-style, with bathrobes and a pillow menu available (JS2).

Penthouse

Equipped like the Junior Suite, but slightly smaller and with only a double bed, located on the top floor (P2).

These schauinsland-reisen original rooms (E2O) have the same amenities as the Design Double Rooms but are located on the top two floors and include a minibar stocked upon arrival (2 soft drinks and 2 water).

These schauinsland-reisen original rooms (2UO) have the same amenities as the Premium Double Rooms but are located on the top two floors and include a minibar stocked upon arrival (2 soft drinks and 2 water).
