Location

In a dreamlike hillside location on the picturesque Cala Galdana, framed by pine trees, directly at the mouth of the Torrent d’Algendar into the Mediterranean. The fine sandy beach is only approx. 150 m away. Bars, restaurants, and shopping facilities are located in the vicinity of the hotel.

The elegant adults-only hotel with 240 rooms over 7 floors follows a philosophy of balancing relaxation, healthy living, recreation, and environmental awareness. It offers a spacious lobby with reception, lounge areas, the "Oliva" buffet restaurant with outdoor terrace, the "Galdana" à-la-carte restaurant, the "Blue Café," and "The View" snack bar with terrace. In the well-kept outdoor area on the 6th floor, there is a spacious pool landscape with a sun terrace and the pool/snack bar.

Double rooms comfortably furnished in muted colors, equipped with shower, WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, telephone, TV, safe, coffee/tea set, and balcony (PDZ). Also available for single use (PSD) or with side sea view (PSM) for an additional charge. Room size approx. 24 m².

Breakfast buffet. For dinner, a rich buffet with show cooking in the Oliva restaurant or à la carte in the Galdana restaurant.

Sports for a fee

"ARTIEM sports" offers a wide range of activities, e.g., bicycle and mountain bike rental and tours, kayak tours, and stand-up paddling. Yoga/Pilates/stretching classes, spinning, CrossFit, and personal training.

Wellness

The "Blue Spa" offers the largest wellness landscape on Menorca, covering approx. 700 m². Highlights include the 90-minute thermal circuit (for a fee) with hydromassage pools (34° C and 38° C), whirlpool, saunas, contrast showers, and an ice fountain. A Roman bath and a private outdoor terrace also provide deep relaxation. The experience is complemented by therapeutic treatments and beauty treatments (for a fee).

Destination information

A tourism tax, comparable to a local tourist tax, must be paid by the guest on site.
Depending on the hotel category, it amounts to € 2.20–4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person from 16 years of age.
From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
In the low season (1.11.–30.4.), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not allowed. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not their legal guardians, the person booking the trip is obliged to inquire about any additional applicable conditions via Schauinsland-Reisen or the travel agency before completing the booking.
