Directly on the 6 km long sandy beach of Playa de Muro, which counts as one of the best beaches in Mallorca. Alcudia with various shopping and entertainment options and its picturesque fishing port, as well as Can Picafort, are about 5 km away and easily accessible by bus.

The Iberostar Playa de Muro, popular with families, offers 446 rooms spread over 3 floors, a modern lobby with a 24-hour reception, 5 elevators, a "Bierstube" (beer hall), and a lounge with the "Ponent" bar where you can enjoy live music in the evening. The "Tramuntana" buffet restaurant offers guests high-quality meals. In the beautiful outdoor area with sea views, there are two pools, several terraces with sun loungers, umbrellas, and Balinese beds (for a fee). The "Dunas" bar as well as the food truck (April-September) provide snacks and refreshments around the pool.

Same facilities as the double rooms, but bookable with 2+1 (DSU).

Double room Premium

With the same facilities as the double rooms, these will be renovated in winter 2026 and are located in the annex building (PDZ).

Double room Interconnecting

These consist of two double rooms with a connecting door and face the street side (CI4/CIA).

Family room (PMI532I)

With the same facilities as the double rooms, these offer a separate bedroom as well as a refrigerator and a microwave. (Room size approx. 35-40 m²) These rooms are located directly next to the hotel in a separate 3-story building with chairs facing the street (DF2/2FA). Also bookable with side sea view for an extra charge (FS2/F2A).

Family room Basic (PMI532I)

The Basic family rooms are approx. 35 m² and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, sofa bed, TV, minibar (for a fee), hairdryer, shower/WC, rental safe, telephone, and balcony (EF2/FCA).

With the same facilities as the double rooms, these offer a separate bedroom as well as one or sometimes two balconies with a side sea view (Room size approx. 35-40 m², room code: 2SS).

Destination information

A tourism tax, comparable to a visitor's tax, must be paid by the guest on-site.
Depending on the hotel category, it amounts to 2.20 € - 4.40 € (plus VAT) per day/person aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
In the low season (Nov 1st - April 30th), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Minors traveling alone are not permitted. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not their legal guardians, the person booking the trip is obliged to inquire with schauinsland-reisen or the travel agency about any additional applicable conditions before completing the booking.
