Combined product consisting of a cruise on the Costa Smeralda and a land-based holiday, including all transfers. When booking an inside or outside cabin, accommodation in the hotel is provided in a double room; if you choose a balcony cabin, accommodation is provided in a junior suite. The travel package you have selected has a duration of 12 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days as per the program. Embarkation in the port of Palma de Mallorca takes place on Tuesdays – Costa Smeralda leaves the port of Palma around 6 PM.

Day 1: DAY AT SEA - Relax on board.
DAY 2: ROME/CIVITAVECCHIA - The "Eternal City" and capital of Italy takes you back to the era of the Roman Empire. Discover the variety of this unique city and visit landmarks such as the Colosseum, the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica, or the Spanish Steps.
Day 3: LA SPEZIA/FLORENCE - An ideal introduction to the culinary and cultural treasures of Tuscany. The Gulf of La Spezia, at the edge of Tuscany, is known as the "Gulf of Poets". If you visit the city with its harbour parks or the Castello Giorgio and discover the region's history, you will feel how perfectly the name suits this patch of earth.
DAY 4: SAVONA - From afar, the small harbour town of Savona on the Riviera di Ponente welcomes you with its famous Leon Pancaldo Tower. Savona is also an ideal starting point for excursions through Le Langhe, the home of Barolo and truffles. Trips to Genoa or Portofino are also possible!
DAY 5: MARSEILLE - In the heart of the city, at the Vieux-Port, you can watch fishermen and feel the fresh breeze. Also visit the Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde.
Day 6: BARCELONA - A stroll along the lively Las Ramblas boulevard is a must when visiting Barcelona! Street performers, musicians, and acrobats turn it into a true open-air theatre. The Gothic Quarter will also impress you with its magnificent squares and medieval and Renaissance buildings.
Day 7: PALMA DE MALLORCA - Visit Palma de Mallorca and explore the magnificent Gothic cathedral or take the time for a long walk through the Old Town.

Accommodation

Inside cabin

On board the Costa Smeralda, you will stay in modern, functionally furnished cabins with maximum comfort. These are air-conditioned and offer an interactive satellite TV with PayTV (not included), bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar (at an extra charge), and Wi-Fi (at an extra charge).
The inside cabins are approx. 13m² in size and offer space for 2 to 4 people (some with twin beds).

Outside cabin

Large windows (some portholes) offer a great view in the ocean-view cabins and invite you to enjoy the first rays of sunshine of the day. Ocean-view cabins have a size of approx. 20m² and offer space for 2 to 4 guests (some with twin beds).

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabin impresses with a direct view of the water and offers a private atmosphere with the best comfort on its own balcony. The cabins are approx. 17m² in size, plus the balcony.

Full board

A total of 11 restaurants serve delicacies from around the world, including a buffet restaurant, the Teppanyaki Restaurant, the Pizzeria Pummid’Oro, and the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola," as well as the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Laboratory), where you prepare your own dinner before enjoying it (partly by reservation and at an extra charge). Your dining time is set by Costa. In addition, 19 different bars are at your disposal (at an extra charge), for example, the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, a sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlours (at an extra charge), all rounding off the culinary offer.

Sports included

The extensively equipped fitness centre with a great view of the sea is available to all guests who want to exercise. In the outdoor area, there is a multi-purpose sports field and an outdoor jogging track.

Sports for a fee

You have the option to book yoga, Pilates, or Kinesis classes in the aerobics studio for a fee, as well as to arrange personal training sessions in the fitness centre!

Children's program

Young guests on board can spend exciting hours in the Squok Kids Club under the supervision of trained entertainers. There is fun for every age group: Mini Club for 3 to 6-year-olds, Maxi Club for 7 to 11-year-olds, Teen Junior Club for 12 to 14-year-olds, and the Teen Club for 15 to 17-year-olds.
The ship offers a children's paddling pool, as well as an entertainment area with video games (at an extra charge).

The Costa Smeralda features a theatre at the bow of the ship where performances take place regularly. There is a casino (from 18 years, stakes not included), a discotheque, and a piano bar. 4 pools, including an indoor pool and a reserved swimming deck, an aqua park with slides, and the Skywalk at a height of 65 m ensure plenty of fun and action. Themed nights are regularly hosted on deck, and interactive shows invite you to join in.
