Combination package consisting of a cruise on the Costa Smeralda and a land-based holiday including all transfers. When booking an inside or outside cabin, accommodation in the hotel is provided in a double room; if you choose a balcony cabin, accommodation is in a junior suite. You can choose between half board and all-inclusive. If the flights take place on the day of embarkation/disembarkation, please ensure that you only combine flights that match the departure and arrival times of the respective ship.

Embarkation at the port of Palma de Mallorca takes place on Tuesdays – Costa Smeralda leaves the port of Palma around 6 PM.

Day 1: DAY AT SEA - Relax on board.
DAY 2: ROME/CIVITAVECCHIA - The "Eternal City" and capital of Italy takes you back to the era of the Roman Empire. Discover the diversity of this unique city and visit landmarks like the Colosseum, the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica, or the Spanish Steps.
Day 3: LA SPEZIA/FLORENCE - An ideal introduction to getting to know Tuscany with its culinary and cultural treasures. The Gulf of La Spezia, on the edge of Tuscany, is known as the "Gulf of Poets." When you visit the city with its harbour parks or the Castello Giorgio and discover the history of the region, you will feel how perfectly the name suits this patch of earth.
DAY 4: SAVONA - From a distance, the small port city of Savona on the Italian Riviera greets you with its famous Leon Pancaldo Tower. Savona is also an ideal starting point for excursions through Le Langhe, the home of Barolo and truffles. Trips to Genoa or Portofino are also possible!
DAY 5: MARSEILLE - In the heart of the city, the Vieux-Port, you can watch fishermen and feel the fresh breeze. Also visit the Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde.
Day 6: BARCELONA - A walk along the lively Las Ramblas promenade is a must during a visit to Barcelona! Street performers, musicians, and acrobats turn it into a true open-air theatre. The Gothic Quarter will also thrill you with its magnificent squares and medieval and Renaissance buildings.
Day 7: PALMA DE MALLORCA - Visit Palma de Mallorca and see, among other things, the magnificent Gothic cathedral or take time for an extensive walk through the old town.

Accommodation

Inside cabin

On board the Costa Smeralda, you will stay in modern and functionally furnished cabins with maximum comfort. These are air-conditioned and offer an interactive satellite TV with pay-TV (not included), bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for an extra charge), and Wi-Fi (for an extra charge).
The inside cabins are approx. 13m² and offer space for 2 to 4 people (some have separate beds).

Outside cabin

Large windows (some portholes) offer a great view in the sea-view cabins and invite you to enjoy the first rays of sun of the day. Sea-view cabins are approx. 20m² and offer space for 2 to 4 guests (some have separate beds).

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabin impresses with a direct view of the water and offers a private atmosphere with the best comfort on its private balcony. The cabins are approx. 17m² plus the balcony.

Meals

Full board

In a total of 11 restaurants, you are served delicacies from all over the world, including, for example, a buffet restaurant, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the Pummid’Oro pizzeria, as well as the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" and the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Laboratory), where you prepare your own dinner before enjoying it (partly with reservation and for a fee). Your dining time is set by Costa. In addition, 19 different bars are available to you (for a fee), for example, the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, a sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, and two Amarillo ice cream parlours (for a fee) complete the culinary offer.

Sports included

The extensively equipped fitness centre with a great view of the sea is available to all guests who want to stay active. In the outdoor area, there is a multi-purpose sports field and an outdoor jogging track.

Sports for a fee

You have the opportunity to book yoga, Pilates, or Kinesis classes in the aerobics studio on board for a fee, as well as to arrange personal training sessions in the fitness centre!

Children's program

Young guests on board can spend exciting hours in the Squok Kids Club under the supervision of trained entertainers. There is fun for every age group here: Mini Club from 3 to 6 years, Maxi Club from 7 to 11 years, Teen Junior Club from 12 to 14 years, and the Teen Club from 15 to 17 years.
The ship offers a children's paddling pool as well as an entertainment area with video games (for a fee).

Wellness

Entertainment

The Costa Smeralda features a theatre in the bow of the ship where performances are held regularly. There is a casino (from 18 years, betting stakes not included), a disco, and a piano bar. 4 pools, including an indoor pool and a reserved swimming deck, an aqua park with slides, as well as the Skywalk at a height of 65 m, ensure plenty of fun and action. Theme nights are held regularly on deck, and interactive shows invite you to join in.
