When booking an inside or outside cabin, accommodation in the hotel is in a double room; if you choose a balcony cabin, accommodation is in a junior suite. You can choose between half board and all-inclusive. Embarkation at the port of Palma de Mallorca takes place on Tuesdays – Costa Smeralda leaves the port of Palma around 6 pm.

Day 1: AT SEA - Relax on board.
DAY 2: ROME/CIVITAVECCHIA-The "Eternal City" and capital of Italy takes you back to the era of the Roman Empire. Discover the diversity of this unique city and visit sights such as the Colosseum, the Vatican with St. Peter's Basilica or the Spanish Steps
Day 3: LA SPEZIA/FLORENCE-An ideal introduction to getting to know Tuscany with its culinary and cultural treasures. The Gulf of La Spezia, on the edge of Tuscany, bears the name "Gulf of Poets". When you visit the city with its parks at the harbour or the Castello Giorgio and discover the history of the region, you will feel how perfectly the name suits this spot on earth.
TAG 4: SAVONA-From a distance, the small port city of Savona on the Riviera di Ponente welcomes you with its famous Leon Pancaldo Tower. Savona is also an ideal starting point for excursions through Le Langhe, the home of Barolo and truffles. But trips to Genoa or Portofino are also possible!
TAG 5: MARSEILLE-In the heart of the city, the Vieux-Port, you can watch fishermen and feel a fresh breeze. Also visit the Basilica Notre Dame de la Garde.
Day 6: BARCELONA-A walk along the lively Las Ramblas boulevard is a must when visiting Barcelona! Street artists, musicians and acrobats turn it into a true open-air theatre. The Gothic Quarter will also inspire you with its magnificent squares and buildings from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
Day 7: PALMA DE MALLORCA-Visit Palma de Mallorca and see, among other things, the magnificent Gothic cathedral or take time for an extensive walk in the old town.

Accommodation

Inside cabin

On board the Costa Smeralda, you will stay in modern and functionally furnished cabins with the highest comfort. These are air-conditioned and offer an interactive satellite TV with PayTV (not included), bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, minibar (for an extra charge), Wi-Fi (for an extra charge).
The inside cabins are approx. 13m² in size and offer space for 2 to 4 people. (partially with twin beds).

Outside cabin

Large windows (some portholes) offer a great view in the ocean-view cabins and invite you to enjoy the first rays of sun of the day. Ocean-view cabins have a size of approx. 20m² and offer space for 2 to 4 guests (partially with twin beds).

Balcony cabin

The balcony cabin impresses with a direct view of the water and offers an individual atmosphere with the best comfort on its private balcony. The cabins are approx. 17m² in size, plus the balcony.

Full board

A total of 11 restaurants serve delicacies from all over the world, including, for example, a buffet restaurant, the Teppanyaki restaurant, the Pummid’Oro pizzeria, as well as the family restaurant "Tutti a Tavola" and the Laboratorio del Gusto (Taste Laboratory), where you prepare your own dinner before enjoying it (partially with reservation and for an extra charge). Your dining time is set by Costa. In addition, there are 19 different bars available (for an extra charge), for example, the Spazio Bollicine by Ferrari Spumante, the Aperol Spritz Bar, the Campari Bar, a sports bar, the Bacaro Veneziano, the Nutella Café, as well as two Amarillo ice cream parlours (for an extra charge) that complete the culinary offering.

Sports included

The extensively equipped fitness centre with a great view of the sea is available to all guests who want to be active. In the outdoor area, there is a multi-purpose sports court and an outdoor jogging track.

Sports for a fee

You have the option to book yoga, Pilates, or Kinesis classes in the aerobic studio for an extra charge, as well as arrange personal training sessions in the fitness centre!

Children's program

Small guests on board can spend exciting hours in the Squok Children's Club under the care of trained entertainers. There is fun here for every age group: Mini-Club from 3 to 6 years, Maxi-Club from 7 to 11 years, Teen-Junior-Club from 12 to 14 years, and the Teen-Club from 15 to 17 years.
The ship offers a children's paddling pool, as well as an entertainment area with video games (for an extra charge).

The Costa Smeralda has a theatre in the bow of the ship, where performances are regularly held. There is a casino (from 18 years, stakes not included), a discotheque and a piano bar. 4 pools, including an indoor pool and a reserved swimming deck, an aqua park with slides as well as the Skywalk at a height of 65 m ensure plenty of fun and action. Theme nights are regularly organised on deck and interactive shows invite you to participate.
