Destination information

A tourist tax, comparable to a visitor's tax, must be paid by the guest on site.
Depending on the hotel category, it amounts to €2.20-4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person for those aged 16 and over.
From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
In the low season (1.11.-30.4.), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not permitted. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not their legal guardians, the person registering for the trip is obliged to inquire about any additional conditions that may apply via Schauinsland-Reisen or the travel agency before completing the booking.
