Destination information

A tourism tax, comparable to a local visitor's tax, must be paid by the guest on-site.
Depending on the hotel category, it amounts to € 2.20-4.40 (plus VAT) per day/person for guests 16 years and older.
From the 9th day of stay in the same accommodation, the tax is reduced by 50%.
In the low season (Nov 1–Apr 30), the tax is reduced by 75%.
Unaccompanied minors are not permitted. If minors are accompanied by adults who are not legal guardians, the person registering the booking is obligated to inquire about any additional applicable conditions via Schauinsland-Reisen or the travel agency before completing the booking.
