Location

The family-run Hotel City is located in the center of the Valais Alps, just outside Zermatt. The town center and train station are easily accessible (approx. 50m away). The mountain scenery around the Matterhorn can be reached comfortably by shuttle train. Nearby the hotel, you will also find a ski area and a cable car (approx. 6 km) as well as a golf course (approx. 2 km).

Facilities

The hotel is a strictly non-smoking establishment and welcomes guests in its inviting lobby. There are 41 stylishly and comfortably furnished rooms available. The hotel caters to your culinary needs in the breakfast room, restaurant, and bar. The hotel's own wellness area, including a quiet oasis, offers pleasant relaxation.

Accommodation

Double Room

The 17 m² room consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower, toilet, and hairdryer. A heater, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi (free of charge), kettle, and a north-facing balcony with a side mountain view are also available (D).

Single Room

With otherwise similar amenities, but without a balcony, this 17 m² room is slightly smaller and faces north (E).

Double Room Type C

Similar to the double room, but slightly larger (approx. 22m²) and with a bathtub in the bathroom. The balcony offers mountain and valley views (DC).

Double Room Type A

With otherwise similar amenities and the same size as the double rooms Type C (approx. 22m²), this room features a double bed and an extra bed. The balcony faces south or west (DA).

Superior Double Room (Winter)

Similarly equipped to the double rooms, these are slightly more spacious at approximately 22 m² and feature a balcony with mountain views, valley views, or facing south or west (DSU).

Premium Double Room (Winter)

Also similar to the double rooms, these offer more space at approximately 28 m² and have a balcony with mountain views, valley views, facing north, east, or south (PDZ).

Double Room Type B

This room is located in the new building and, at 28 m², is slightly more spacious than the other rooms. With otherwise similar amenities to the Double Room Type A, it additionally features a living area with a desk and seating area. The balcony faces north, east, or south (DB).
