Located directly by the sea, separated from the pebble beach only by the promenade. The pretty little town of Santa Cruz is situated not far from the airport. Furthermore, there are regular public bus connections to Funchal and the surrounding area.

Arrival by car

Directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
After leaving the arrival building, drive down the road to the main road and continue towards Funchal until you see the sign for "Santa Cruz" on the right. Turn onto this road. At the end of the road, turn left where you will find the sign for "Santa Cruz Centro" (Santa Cruz center); this path takes you under a bridge and continues to a roundabout, which you should drive halfway around. Continue straight ahead through a small tunnel, after which you will reach another roundabout.
You must drive almost all the way around this roundabout to reach the center, where you turn into the 1st street on the right. You cross a small bridge and will now see the Vila Galé Santa Cruz Hotel on the left.
