During your stay, you will enjoy the comfort of staying in just ONE hotel. No packing and unpacking day after day! To enjoy this bus-based tour with 4 excursions, your accommodation must be in a hotel in Funchal (minimum stay 1 week). A combination with hotels in other locations is not possible.

Star excursion program (subject to change/daily arrival possible):
Eira do Serrado/Monte (Monday/Thursday):
Discover the most beautiful panoramas of Madeira on this half-day tour. From the Pico dos Barcelos vantage point, you can overlook the bay of Funchal and continue to Eira do Serrado, from where you can look down to the floor of an extinct volcano. Down at the bottom lies the village of Curral das Freiras (Nun's Valley). Continue to Monte, where you will visit the church of Nossa Senhora do Monte. On the way back, you will have the opportunity to ride the traditional wicker toboggans. (Not included in the price)
Porto Moniz (Wednesday/Friday):
Departure in the direction of Câmara de Lobos (a fishing village where the famous Espada – black scabbard fish – is caught). The tour continues via Cabo Girão (Europe's highest cliff at 580m), and then the route takes us along the coast to Ribeira Brava. From Ponta de Sol, the route heads uphill to the plateau of Pául da Serra (1400m). Finally, it descends to Porto Moniz to the natural seawater swimming pools. The lunch break is held here. The return journey is via the north coast, leading through Seixal to São Vicente. From there, it goes up over the Encumeada Pass (1007m), where you can see the north and south coasts simultaneously. Afterward, return to Funchal.
Santana (Tuesday/Saturday):
Departure into the mountains via Poiso towards Pico do Arieiro (1810m). The route then descends to Ribeiro Frio. Here, you are in the middle of Madeira's laurel forest (Laurisilva), which has been declared a World Heritage site. The tour continues to Santana, known for its thatched-roof houses. The lunch break is held here. Afterward, you will proceed to Pico do Facho. Finally, return to Funchal.
Levada and Botanical Garden (Monday/Wednesday):
The 4th and final excursion takes us, after an approx. 1.5-hour levada hike (difficulty: easy), to the Botanical Garden, which is famous for its approximately 3,000 different plant species (entrance fee and guided tour included).
