Location

The small and friendly Terrace Mar holiday complex is in an excellent location, approx. 500 m from the sea and the Lido Promenade, and approx. 2 km (approx. 20 minutes' walk) from Funchal's old town. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel, there are shops, restaurants, bars, banks, and a bus stop.

On the roof, there is a heated freshwater pool with a whirlpool, as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols (included) and an 'Honesty' bar.

The modern Junior Suites feature a bathroom with shower, WC, and hairdryer, a combined living/sleeping area, seating and dining area with sofa, table and chairs, air conditioning, telephone, flat-screen TV, cable TV, safe (included), kitchenette with microwave, and a furnished balcony. Can also be booked as a Junior Suite for single occupancy. Also available as a Junior Suite Type I at a special price and allotment.

The modern suites feature the same amenities but have a separate bedroom.

Superior Studio

The modern Superior Studios are equipped like the studios/Junior Suites but are located on the 4th floor and feature a furnished terrace with parasol as well as a furnished balcony and a kettle with tea and coffee. Can also be booked as a Superior Studio for single occupancy.

Every year, the famous FLOWER FESTIVAL takes place in Madeira - the "Festa da Flor". Marvel at the elaborately decorated floats and let yourself be carried away by the zest for life.
