The modern and unusual architecture of the new building has been harmoniously integrated into the existing garden landscape with a typical Madeiran manor house. In 1999, the Quinta was awarded the Funchal Architecture Prize. Following some extensions in 2002, the hotel was the only one on Madeira to be accepted into the exclusive group of "Small Luxury Hotels of the World". The Quinta features a modern room wing (hotel building) with 43 rooms (29 garden-side double rooms, 12 premium double rooms, 2 suites), which is located in a two-story, completely glazed low-rise building, and the newly renovated manor house, which houses the 5 Manor House suites and 1 separate villa. The facilities of the complex include a reception area, Wi-Fi (included), the "Garden Pavillion" restaurant, where breakfast is served buffet style, the Casa da Quinta, where lunch is offered from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, dinner from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, snacks from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and drinks and cocktails from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, the restaurant "The Dining Room" (in the manor house, sophisticated gastronomy concept), where dinner can be enjoyed for a fee from Tuesday to Saturday from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, a small library in a large, cozy lounge as well as various seating areas in the main building and the manor house. In the subtropical gardens, there is a heated freshwater swimming pool and a sun terrace as well as an additional "Adults Only Pool" with a sunbathing area at the manor house (sun loungers, pads, and umbrellas included in each case).

Double Room Garden Side

The garden-side double rooms are approx. 37 m² and feature bath/WC, hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, twin beds, air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, safe (included), Wi-Fi (included), and a furnished terrace (2DG).

Double Room Premium

The premium double rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are larger (approx. 55 m², incl. balcony/terrace) with a bathtub and a walk-in shower. They generally feature a queen-size bed (1.60 m wide) and an additional separate dressing area with a large wardrobe and a furnished balcony or terrace (PR2).

Suite Manor House

The suites in the manor house are individually furnished, approx. 86 m² (including balcony/terrace), and feature a marble bathroom with a bathtub and shower cabin/WC, scale, twin beds, telephone, minibar, safe (no fee), air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, turn-down service, Nespresso coffee machine, tea/coffee maker, and a separate living room. All suites have a balcony or terrace with sun loungers and chairs (2MH).

Suite Deluxe

The Deluxe suites are approx. 110 m² (including balcony), are located in the hotel building, and feature a bedroom with a king-size bed (2m x 2m), a large marble bathroom with double sinks, a whirlpool bathtub, separate walk-in shower cabin, WC, hairdryer, scale, bathrobes, slippers and turn-down service, separate living room, cable TV, telephone, minibar, safe (no fee), air conditioning, Wi-Fi (included), Nespresso coffee machine. All suites have a furnished balcony with sun loungers and chairs (S2D).

BB/HB

Breakfast buffet in the Garden Pavillion from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
Dinner in menu form in the "Casa da Quinta" restaurant from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM - table d'hôte (3-course menu, appetizer, main course with a choice between fish or meat, as well as vegetarian dishes upon request) and dessert or À-la-carte (for half-board guests, a credit is applied to the final bill).
Restaurant "The Dining Room" from Tuesday to Saturday from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM: The restaurant currently offers two tasting menus, one with 6 courses and one with 9 courses (for half-board guests, a credit is applied to the final bill). Dress code: Smart Casual (no sneakers, no T-shirts, no shorts). There are fixed time slots for dinner that can be reserved at check-in to provide the best possible service.

Sports for a fee

The hotel grants a 30% discount on green fees locally (booking at the hotel reception) (1x 18 holes per day) at the Santo da Serra Golf course and 25% at the Palheiro Golf course.

Wellness

The "Frangipani Spa" wellness area offers a sauna, a whirlpool, a steam bath, and separate men's and women's changing rooms without a fee, beauty treatments and massages for a fee (reservation/registration required). Entry to the Health Club & Spa area is permitted from age 16.

Directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
Please drive from Funchal airport on the highway approx. 17.5 km towards Funchal and then take the Hospital/Porto exit. At the exit, please turn left, pass a 'Repsol' gas station until you reach the roundabout. Please take the second exit at the roundabout. You are now on the Avenida Luis Camoes and turn at the last traffic light into the first possible street on the right. After you have turned into the first street on the right after the traffic light, you must turn right again and take the 3rd exit to the left of the roundabout (towards Rua da Casa Branca). Drive approx. 100 meters, then you will see the Quinta da Casa Branca on the left side.
