Location

The Quinta is located approx. 1.5 km from Funchal and not far from the old town. The airport is approx. 18 km away. Built in 1750, the Quinta offers a magnificent view of the sea and the mountains. The property is surrounded by a large, subtropical garden and features a small lake.

The Quinta Jardins do Lago has a total of 40 rooms and offers a beautiful reception area, breakfast room with terrace, restaurant, bar, lounge, conservatory, library, and a games room. In the beautifully landscaped garden, which delights visitors with over 800 different plant species, you will find the freshwater swimming pool (heatable year-round) and a pool bar/bistro, sun terrace, and whirlpool. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and pool towels are naturally included here.

Garden-side double room

The garden-side double rooms are approx. 42 m² in size and feature a bathroom, WC, hairdryer, cable TV, telephone, rental safe, minibar, USB port, air conditioning/heating, extra bed for the 3rd person, and a terrace (located on the ground floor). Also bookable as a garden-side double room for single use.

Superior double room

The superior double rooms have the same facilities as the garden-side double rooms, are approx. 46 m² in size, and have a balcony with a garden view. Additionally bookable for single use (DSE).

Junior suite

The junior suites are larger than the double rooms (approx. 62 m²) and feature a bathtub and shower, balcony, and garden view. Located in the old manor house (no lift!) with a beautiful garden.

Premium suite (on request)

The suites are approx. 80 m² in size and have the same facilities as the junior suites, but feature a larger balcony as well as an additional living room and a separate bedroom.

Deluxe double room (FNCA90)

These correspond to the garden-side double rooms (DD2).

Premium double room (FNCA90)

These correspond to the superior double rooms (PDZ).
