Location

The Ocean Gardens hotel is located above the sea on a hill and offers a magnificent view of the bay and the Atlantic Ocean as well as the city of Funchal. It is approximately 15 minutes to Funchal airport. You can reach the center of Funchal in about 10 minutes by car. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service (subject to availability, Mon-Fri) between the city center and the hotel.

The tastefully furnished 4-star hotel has a total of 85 rooms. Amenities include a lobby with 24-hour reception, the à-la-carte restaurant 'Montanha' (230 seats, with an outdoor smoking area), a hotel bar, the pool/snack bar "Panoramica", and a ballroom (for events and congresses). The Double Rooms Bay View feature the same amenities as the standard double rooms but include a bathroom with shower/WC, a USB port, and views of the harbor and the bay of Funchal (VDB).

Double Room Superior Bay View

The Double Rooms Superior Bay View offer the same amenities as the Double Rooms Bay View but are slightly larger and feature a panoramic balcony (SVB).

Breakfast from 7:30-10 AM served as a buffet. For half-board, dinner is additionally provided from 7-10 PM as a 3-course menu/set menu (choice of 2 appetizer options, choice of 2 main course options of fish or meat, and choice of 2 dessert options) in the à-la-carte restaurant 'Montanha'.
Additionally, à-la-carte dishes are offered from 11 AM-10 PM in the à-la-carte restaurant 'Montanha' (for a fee).
