Location

The Hotel Ocean Gardens is located on a mountain above the sea and offers magnificent views of the bay and the Atlantic Ocean as well as the city of Funchal. It is approximately 15 minutes to Funchal Airport. You can reach the center of Funchal in about 10 minutes by car. The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service (subject to availability, Mon-Fri) between the city center and the hotel.

The tastefully furnished 4-star hotel has a total of 85 rooms. Amenities include an entrance area with 24-hour reception, the à-la-carte restaurant 'Montanha' (230 seats, with an outdoor smoking area), hotel bar, pool/snack bar "Panoramica", as well as a ballroom (for events and conventions). Directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
From Funchal Airport, take the expressway (Via Rapida) towards Funchal. Take exit "Cancela/Garajau" (Exit No. 15), follow the road to the end, and turn right. You will arrive at a roundabout; take the exit indicated for Hotel Oceans Garden. Follow the road until you reach another hotel sign. Turn left there and follow the road downhill (towards Funchal). Continue on this side road towards Funchal. After passing the "Pináculo" viewpoint, you will see the hotel on the right-hand side.
