Location

The Ocean Gardens hotel is situated above the sea on a mountain, offering a magnificent view of the bay and the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the city of Funchal. It is approximately a 15-minute drive to Funchal Airport. The center of Funchal can be reached in about a 10-minute drive. The hotel offers a free shuttle service (subject to availability, Mon-Fri) between the city center and the hotel.

The tastefully furnished 4-star hotel has a total of 85 rooms. Facilities include a reception area with a 24-hour reception, an à la carte restaurant 'Montanha' (230 seats, with an outdoor smoking area), a hotel bar, a pool/snackbar "Panoramica", and a ballroom (for events and conferences). The outdoor area (located on the 4th floor) features a well-maintained garden area with a sun terrace, swimming pool, and pool snack bar, as well as a fantastic view over the Atlantic Ocean.

The double rooms Bay View have the same amenities as the double rooms, a bathroom with shower/WC, USB port, and a view of the harbor and the Bay of Funchal (VDB).

The double rooms Superior Bay View have the same amenities as the double rooms Bay View, but are slightly larger and feature a panoramic balcony (SVB).
