The comfortable holiday complex is located approx. 2 km from the city center of Funchal and just under 100 m from the Lido. Directly in front of the hotel, there is a public bus stop with regular connections to the center.

The hotel has 262 rooms, an elegant lobby with a 24-hour reception, several bars, a restaurant, Wi-Fi (included in the lobby), and a small shopping center with various shops. In the outdoor area, there is a swimming pool as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols.

Double Room

The double rooms are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, cable TV, safe (for rent), mini-fridge, telephone, and a balcony or terrace. Double rooms with sea view are available for an extra charge. Also bookable as a double room for single use or a double room with sea view for single use.
Up to and including Winter 23/24, also bookable as a Young Traveller Room at a special rate (all travelers must be between 18 and 29 years old).

Studio

The studios offer the same facilities as the double rooms, but with a bathtub and a kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and toaster). Studios with partial sea view are available for an extra charge.

Double Room Superior Sea View

The double rooms Superior Sea View offer the same facilities as the double rooms but feature a bathtub and additionally provide a complimentary safe, Wi-Fi (included), bathrobe and slippers, daily newspaper service, free entry to the on-site spa (treatments for a fee), non-alcoholic drinks in the room upon arrival, and early check-in and late check-out subject to availability (as of 1.5.2023). Also bookable as a Double Room Superior Sea View for single use.

Double Room Type I

The double rooms Type I are bookable from Winter 22/23. With otherwise the same features as the double rooms, they are offered at a special price and have a limited allocation. The double rooms Type I are only bookable with breakfast.

Apartment (FNCA06)

These comfortable and modernly furnished apartments offer you, with otherwise similar features to the double rooms, an additional kitchenette, a living area with seating and dining options, and a sleeping area separated by a sliding door (A12/A11/A14/A13).

Directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
Drive from the airport via the motorway/expressway towards Funchal. Take exit no. 9 towards Funchal/Hospital/Porto. (Please note that this exit is on the left lane of the motorway). Follow the road to the next roundabout and take the second exit. Continue until the third traffic light, then turn right there. Keep to the right, cross a bridge, and stay to the left to follow the road. On the right side, you will see the hotel The View Monumental.
