This small, friendly, and family-run hotel is in a wonderful location next to the famous Madeira Casino, approx. 300 m from the "CR7" Cristiano Ronaldo Museum, approx. 500 m from the city center, and 300 m from the port of Funchal. A variety of restaurants, bars, and cafés are within walking distance.

Arrival by car

Directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
Drive from the airport onto the Via Rapida (expressway) heading west towards Funchal. It takes about 15-20 minutes to reach the Funchal "Porto/Hospital" exit. Attention: You must exit the expressway to the left, from the passing lane. Then continue downhill until you reach a roundabout. Go straight ahead at this roundabout, past the hospital, and continue down to the next large traffic light intersection. Here, you will see the Pestana Carlton Hotel in front of you. Drive through the intersection towards the Carlton and take a sharp left turn into a one-way street. Follow this for approx. 150 m and then turn right down a small, narrow street. This curves to the left twice; after the second turn, the road goes uphill again for approx. 100 m, where you will find your hotel on the left side.
