Location

Surrounded by a beautiful 5,000 m² tropical garden, the hotel is situated on a cliff in Ponta da Cruz with direct access to the promenade, offering dreamlike views of the Atlantic Ocean and Cabo Girao. It is approx. 5 km to the center of Funchal and approx. 35 minutes by car (approx. 22 km away) to the airport. A bus stop is located near the hotel.

The 8-story hotel has 183 rooms spread over 5 floors and offers a large lobby, bar, lounge, conference rooms, Wi-Fi (included in public areas and rooms), hairdresser, games room, and a billiards room. There is a wide selection of different restaurants (à-la-carte restaurants included in half-board with reservation). From Moroccan cuisine at the "Au Tagine" restaurant and Italian delicacies at the "Trattoria de la Fontana" to traditional Portuguese dishes at the "Cabo Girao" grill restaurant and international themed buffets at the main restaurant 'Atrium'. In the garden area, there is a seawater pool landscape (approx. 1,000 m²), a pool/snack bar, and a sun terrace with sun loungers, bath towels, and umbrellas.

The modern double rooms are non-smoking and feature a bathroom with bathtub, toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (water & soft drinks included with refill for a fee), tea and coffee maker (refill upon request), safe (included), Wi-Fi (included), cable TV, and a balcony or terrace. Double rooms with side sea view or sea view can be booked for an extra charge.

Single room

Single rooms are double rooms for single use. Double rooms for single use with side sea view can be booked for an extra charge.

Suite sea view

The suites feature the same amenities as the double rooms and include an additional living area, 2 balconies, and sea views.

Family room

The spacious family rooms are approx. 39 m² and equipped like the double rooms. They have a furnished balcony overlooking the hotel garden, with partial side sea views of the Atlantic Ocean. These rooms consist of a bedroom with two single beds and an additional sofa bed.

The Superior double rooms with sea view are equipped like the standard double rooms and feature a balcony, sea view, and are located on the fourth floor.
