The hotel is situated in a quiet location on a cliff above the natural beach Praia Formosa, approx. 5 km west of Funchal. There are some small restaurants and bars nearby. Funchal International Airport is approx. 20 minutes away by car.

The 5-star resort of the Pestana Hotel Group is built in the Portuguese colonial style. Hand-painted ceramic tiles decorate the walls, while fine marble floors and elegant décor create a tasteful ambiance. The hotel, with a total of 313 rooms, features a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, an indoor pool, Wi-Fi (included throughout the hotel), a buffet restaurant, 2 themed restaurants (included 2x per week for stays of 7 nights; for stays of 4 to 6 nights, included only 1x per week, exclusively upon prior booking at the reception and always subject to availability), the "Botanic Restaurant" (open only in summer) with a selection of typical dishes from the island of Madeira, an Italian restaurant ("Campo de' Fiori"), and 2 bars ("Sunset Bar" and "Bar Primavera"). Double Room Deluxe

The brightly furnished Double Rooms Deluxe have the same facilities as the double rooms, but with a balcony (DD2). Also bookable as a double room deluxe for single use (with balcony) (DD1).

Double Room Deluxe Sea View

The brightly furnished rooms are approx. 25 m² and have the same facilities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, but with a sea view (2DM).

Double Room Deluxe Superior

The brightly furnished Double Rooms Deluxe Superior have the same facilities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, but are more spacious (approx. 38 m²) and offer a larger balcony and an extra bed for a 3rd person (DSU).

Suite

The brightly furnished suites are approx. 40 m² and have the same facilities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, but consist of a living room and a separate bedroom (S2).

Breakfast from 7:30-10:30 a.m., lunch from 12:30-2:30 p.m., and dinner from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in buffet style. For stays of 7 nights or more, you can have dinner (6:30-9:30 p.m.) twice a week, and for stays of 4-6 nights, once a week, in one of the three themed restaurants (Italian, Madeiran—Madeiran only open in summer), subject to availability and prior booking at the reception. Snacks from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and lunch snacks from 12 p.m.-6 p.m. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (according to the hotel's drink menu) during meals and at the respectively open bars from 11 a.m.-12 a.m.
