Location

The Vila Ventura Hotel is located in the idyllic coastal village of Canico de Baixo on Madeira's sunny south coast, surrounded by lush floral gardens and is only approx. 500 m from the public rocky/pebble beach. Small shops, restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment facilities are about 100 m away. Natural seawater swimming pools, beautiful extensive stone beaches, rocky coves and a marine national park are nearby. The center of Canico is about 2 km away. Funchal is about 12 km away. There is a regular public bus service. A bus stop is about 500 m away. Funchal International Airport is about 12 km away.

The 3-star complex is a small, family-run aparthotel under German management with 21 rooms, spread over 2 floors. Facilities include a reception area with a reception desk (staffed from 8 am to 8 pm), lobby, breakfast room, a public hotel grill restaurant (à la carte, local cuisine) with an outdoor terrace, the rustic "Bar Ventura", and a well-maintained outdoor area with a lovingly designed garden.
