This attractive, terraced 4-star hotel has a total of 99 rooms spread over 3 buildings with a maximum of 4 floors and connects seamlessly to the associated neighboring Royal Orchid hotel. Amenities include a central reception in the neighboring Royal Orchid hotel, Wi-Fi (included in hotel areas, lobby, bars, restaurants and in the rooms), elevator (in one building), bar and panoramic restaurant with terrace. In the charming and well-maintained outdoor area, you will find rocky bathing plateaus accessible via stairs, with a small natural seawater pool, direct access to the sea (steps) and sun terraces. Sun loungers, beach towels (1 towel per person/per stay) and umbrellas are included at the pool. In the neighboring Cais da Oliveira hotel, an additional freshwater swimming pool is available for your use in the outdoor area. Another outdoor pool and an indoor pool are available at the neighboring Royal Orchid hotel.

Studio sea view

The studios with sea view are comfortably furnished and feature two single beds, a TV with satellite channels, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with bathtub or shower, a safe (for a fee), free Wi-Fi and a balcony or terrace with a spectacular view of the Atlantic (SM2). Also bookable for single use for an extra charge (SM1). Also bookable as type O with limited availability and at a special price (SOM).

Double room Superior

The renovated Superior double rooms offer the same amenities as the double rooms, but with a bathroom featuring a walk-in shower as well as coffee and tea-making facilities and a balcony or terrace with land view (DSU).
For an extra charge, available for single use (DSE) or with sea view (DMU)/with sea view for single use (DME).

Arrival by car

Directions from Funchal Airport (FNC):
Take the highway towards Funchal. After about 10 minutes of driving, take the exit for Caniço/Caniço de Baixo. Then turn left towards Caniço de Baixo. Follow the road until you see the hotel signs. Turn right here, then left. Continue straight until you see the signs for the Roca Mar and Royal Orchid hotels again. Turn right here and you will see your hotel.
