Location

The hotel has 163 rooms and is located directly on the cliff coast, with spectacular views over the Ponta da Piedade peninsula. This small headland with its distinctive rock and grotto landscape is just a 5-minute drive from the historic center of the port town of Lagos. Several beaches are in the vicinity. The public rocky beach 'Porto de Mos' (bathing shoes recommended) is approx. 800 m away, the town center with entertainment options such as bars and restaurants is approx. 1 km away, a bus stop is approx. 1 km away, a hospital and a pharmacy within approx. 3 km, Faro Airport is approx. 92 km away, and Lisbon Airport is approx. 300 km away.

The 38-hectare 5-star resort is divided into 5 hotel wings with the styles: Portugal, Asia, Europe, South America, and Africa, and has a total of 105 rooms (80 double rooms, 23 suites, 1 Grand Suite, and 1 Master Suite) and a total of 58 apartments (with 1 or 2 bedrooms). Facilities include a 24-hour reception, elevator, Senses Restaurant (with outdoor terrace, open daily from 7 PM to 10 PM), Mundi Restaurant (seasonally open), 'Lighthouse' Bar (open daily from 10:30 AM to 12 AM), 'The Gastropub Portuguese Soul' (open daily from 12 PM to 10 PM), and 'Sandy Bay' Pool Bar (seasonally open from 11 AM to 6 PM), a conference/meeting room for 300 people (351 m²), extensive gardens, a sun terrace, and 3 swimming pools for adults and 2 pools for children. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided free of charge for hotel guests in the pool area (for a fee at the beach, offered by local providers).

The double rooms (approx. 45 m²-57 m²) are furnished in a contemporary decorative style, each inspired by the African, Asian, South American, or European continent, or by Portugal. They feature a spacious furnished balcony or terrace, a flat-screen TV with cable TV and pay-TV (for a fee), a wardrobe, air conditioning, a safe (included), a minibar (for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), slippers, bathrobes, and a modern natural stone bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower cubicle, hairdryer, WC, illuminated cosmetic mirror, and toiletries from 'L’Occitane®'. Double rooms with a pool view or sea view are available at an additional charge. Also bookable as a single occupancy double room.

Sea view suite

The elegant suites (approx. 60-82 m²) with sea view are furnished in a contemporary decorative style, each inspired by the African, Asian, South American, or European continent, following the same concept and furnishings as the double rooms, with the addition of a separate living room with an additional flat-screen TV with cable TV and pay-TV (for a fee), as well as an espresso coffee machine and tea-making facilities.

Apartment

The apartments (1 bedroom) are approx. 67 m²-77 m² in size and feature a bathroom with a bathtub and L’Occitane® personal care products, a living/dining area, a sofa bed, a modern and fully equipped kitchen (with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, oven, hob, toaster, coffee machine, washing machine, iron, crockery, elegant dining set, and kitchen utensils), a separate bedroom, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with cable TV and pay-TV (for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), bathrobe and slippers, a high chair (on request), and a furnished terrace. Apartments (2 bedrooms, approx. 96 m²-110m² with 2 bathrooms) and apartments (1 bedroom) with pool view can be booked at an additional charge.
