Location

The Wyndham Grand Carvoeiro Algarve hotel is situated on a rocky plateau, with a fantastic location directly above the "Praia de Vale de Centeanes" bay. The stunning sandy beach, framed by rock formations, is approximately 300m away. The center of Carvoeiro is about 1.7 km away. During weekdays, there is a complimentary hotel shuttle bus (3 times a day). Faro Airport is approximately 60 km away.

The modern 5-star hotel has a total of 134 rooms. Facilities include a 24-hour reception, lobby, elevators, luggage room, conference room, an "Enseada" bar, a buffet restaurant, and an à la carte restaurant "Aura" with wonderful views over the Atlantic coast. In the well-maintained garden area, there is a swimming pool with a separate children's pool and an adults-only pool, chill-out areas, and a sun terrace with a pool bar (open seasonally). Umbrellas, loungers, and mattresses are included; towels are available for a deposit.

Double Room Comfort

The Double Rooms Comfort, approx. 28 sqm, are located in the main building, are modernly furnished, and are strictly non-smoking. They feature a king-size bed or two twin beds, a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safety deposit box (rental fee), air conditioning/heating, and a Nespresso coffee machine, without a balcony (DKO). Also available as Double Room Comfort with balcony (2CB). Double Room Comfort with sea view (DKM) can be booked at an additional charge.

Single Room

The Single Rooms are Double Rooms Comfort for single use (DE).

Double Room Deluxe

The Double Rooms Deluxe, approx. 28 sqm, are located in a separate building and offer the same amenities as the Double Rooms Comfort, with a living/sleeping area and a balcony (DD2). Double Room Deluxe with sea view (DDM) can be booked at an additional charge.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites, approx. 40 sqm, feature a separate bedroom in addition to the amenities of the Double Rooms Comfort (JS2).

Suite with side sea view

The Suites with side sea view, approx. 45 sqm, are located in the annex building, are more spacious than the Junior Suites, and offer similar amenities. The bathroom with shower, hairdryer, separate bedroom, balcony, and side sea view complete the features (2SS). Available for booking.

Meals

BB/HB/HB+/FB

All meals are served buffet-style (in winter, dinner is buffet or menu, depending on occupancy). Themed evenings and beach barbecues are available during the summer season. If you book HB+, the following drinks are included with dinner: a choice of half a bottle of wine, 1 beer, or 1 soft drink. Additionally, half a bottle of mineral water is included.

Directions from Faro Airport (FAO):
Drive west for approx. 140m, after about 750m turn left onto the N125-10. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, direction N125-10, and then after approx. 600m, turn right onto the ramp to Loulé/Lisbon/Portimao.
You will then merge onto the IC4, keep left at the fork and continue on the IC4.
After approx. 45 km, take the A22 via the ramp to Lisbon/Portimão/Albufeira and
then take exit 6 towards Lagoa.
At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto EN124-1/N124-1 towards Lagoa/N125/Estômbar. Keep left at the fork and then drive onto the IC4/N125. Follow the N125 and after approx. 2 km, turn right onto the EN125. After 40m, turn slightly right onto Rua Marquês de Pombal/N124-1. Continue keeping left on EN124-1/N124-1 and then follow N124-1 until after approx. 1.5 km, turn left towards Estr. do Poço Partido. Turn right onto Estr. do Poço Partido, continue to Estr. da Amendoeira. Turn left at Estr. do Farol/N124-1, then take the 1st right and you will arrive at the Wyndham Grand Carvoeiro Algarve.
Directions from Lisbon Airport (LIS):
Drive approx. 14m northeast and then turn right onto Avenida Berlim.
After about 62m, turn left and continue on Avenida Berlim. Keep right onto Ave. Berlim, go through the 1st roundabout, and then turn left onto Avenida Cidade do Porto (signposted A1/A8/A12). Take exit E01 and then exit 14 towards A12/Sul/Ponte Vasco da Gama. The A12 is partly tolled; drive on it to the IP1 (signs for Évora), also tolled. Take the A2 toll road, after approx. 202 km take exit 15, continue towards A22 (Lagos/Portimão/Albufeira). After another 23 km, take exit 6 towards Lagoa. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto EN124-1/N124-1 towards Lagoa/N125/Estômbar.
Keep left at the fork and turn onto IC4/N125. Follow the N125 and after approx. 2 km, turn right onto EN125. After 40m, turn slightly right onto Rua Marquês de Pombal/N124-1. Continue keeping left on EN124-1/N124-1 and then follow N124-1 until after approx. 1.5 km, turn left towards Estr. do Poço Partido. Turn right onto Estr. do Poço Partido, continue to Estr. da Amendoeira. Turn left at Estr. do Farol/N124-1, then take the 1st right and you will arrive at the Wyndham Grand Carvoeiro Algarve.
