Location

The PortoBay Blue Ocean, with its unique cliff-top location overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve, Praia da Falésia, is set within beautiful gardens. The centre of Olhos d’água, with its shops and restaurants, is in the immediate vicinity. Albufeira is approximately 8 km away. Faro Airport is approximately 35 km away.

The 4-star hotel was renovated for Summer 2025 and features 348 modern rooms, a lobby with reception, lift, 2 restaurants (an international buffet restaurant and a brasserie next to the outdoor pool), a cocktail bar with terrace, and a pool/snack bar. The outdoor area includes a sun terrace and three swimming pools (one of which is adults-only, plus a children's pool). The hotel also has an indoor pool (heated). Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool. Hotel guests benefit from direct beach access (via stairs).

Double room

The cosy and modernly furnished double rooms feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, safe, minibar, kettle, telephone, cable TV (55-inch Smart TV), and balcony (D). Also available as a double room Type O with the same amenities (DZO).

Double room side sea view

Same amenities as the double rooms, but with a side sea view (DMS). Also bookable as a double room with side sea view Type O (SDO) (limited availability).

The Superior double rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are more spacious (DSU). Also bookable as a Superior double room with side sea view (D2S).
