The PortoBay Blue Ocean, with its unique location perched on the cliffs overlooking one of the most beautiful beaches of the Algarve, "Praia da Falésia," is nestled within beautiful green grounds. The center of Olhos d’água, with its shops and restaurants, is in the immediate vicinity. Albufeira is approximately 8 km away. Faro Airport is about 35 km away.

The 4-star hotel was renovated for Summer 2025 and features 348 modern rooms, a reception hall with a reception desk, elevator, 2 restaurants (an international buffet restaurant and a brasserie next to the outdoor pool), a cocktail bar with a terrace, and a pool/snack bar. The outdoor area boasts a sun terrace and three swimming pools (including one pool exclusively for adults and a children's pool). Furthermore, the hotel has an indoor pool (heated). Sun loungers and umbrellas are included in the pool area. Hotel guests benefit from direct beach access (via stairs).

The cozy and modernly furnished double rooms feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning/heating, safe, minibar, kettle, telephone, cable TV (55-inch Smart TV), and a balcony (D). Also available as a double room type O with the same amenities (DZO).
