Location

The beautiful region of Tyrol is always worth a visit, both in the summer and winter months. Both active holidaymakers and those seeking relaxation will feel at home here. The Gasthof Jäger is located in the middle of Schlitters in a panoramic position at an altitude of approx. 560m. Cafes, restaurants, and shopping facilities are reachable after approx. 20m.
In the winter months, the region is particularly suitable for alpine skiers and cross-country skiers, but great winter hikes are also possible there. A free ski bus runs (according to the timetable on site). The ski bus stop is located directly at the house. For beginner skiers, a ski school is available at approx. 5 km distance, as well as a practice lift (approx. 5 km away). The Spieljochbahn cable car in the Spieljoch ski area in Fügen is about 4 km away from the house. The nearest cross-country ski trail is only about 200m away. A hiking trail in direct sight of the accommodation invites you for pleasant winter hikes.

In the summer months, the hotel is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. The hiking area with the Zillertal hiking trail is located directly at the house. The Zillertal cycle path can be reached after approx. 100m.

The friendly, family-run Gasthof Jäger offers its guests 22 comfortably furnished accommodation units. The guesthouse also has a welcoming reception hall, a reception area, a lounge with TV, and a terrace which is also open in winter. For the culinary well-being of the guests, there is an à la carte restaurant and another restaurant. For winter sports equipment, a lockable ski and snowboard storage room accessible from the house, as well as a heated ski boot room with ski boot dryer are available.

The regionally furnished double rooms Falkennest with 1 possible extra bed (Z1C, approx. between 20 and 30 m²) feature flat-screen TVs with satellite TV and integrated radio, direct dial telephone, shower, toilet, hairdryer, and a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a double bed and a folding bed.

Single Room

The regionally furnished rooms (E, approx. between 15 and 18 m²) feature flat-screen TVs with satellite TV and integrated radio, shower, toilet, hairdryer, and a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a fixed single bed.

Family Room

The regionally furnished rooms (DF2) feature flat-screen TVs with satellite TV and integrated radio, shower, toilet, hairdryer, and a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed.

Half Board (Winter)

Meals begin with dinner on arrival day and end with breakfast on departure day.
Daily extensive breakfast buffet with organic corner, fresh fruit, coffee specialties and breakfast eggs, in the evening 3-course menu including salad buffet, vegetarian dishes available on request, gluten-free and lactose-free dishes available at an extra charge locally (approx. €5 per person/day).
Especially in winter: 4-course New Year's Eve gala dinner included.

Ski Area Ski Optimal-Hochzillertal: Altitude: approx. 650-2,100 m The TOP winter sports area Ski Optimal-Hochzillertal with its perfectly groomed slopes offers a race course. But not only skiers get their money's worth here, as the area is considered a cross-country skiing Eldorado with approx. 40 km of classic cross-country trails. Of course, after a long day of skiing, there are also various options for enjoyable après-ski. A toboggan run promises a lot of fun too.
