Location

The beautiful region of Tyrol is always worth a visit, both in summer and winter. Both active holidaymakers and those seeking relaxation will feel at home here. The Gasthof Jäger is located in the middle of Schlitters in a panoramic position at approx. 560m altitude. Cafes, restaurants, and shops can be reached in about 20m.
In the winter months, the region is particularly suitable for alpine skiers and cross-country skiers, but great winter hikes are also possible. A free ski bus runs (according to the timetable on site). The ski bus stop is located directly at the guesthouse. For beginner skiers, a ski school is available approx. 5 km away, as is a practice lift (approx. 5 km away). The Spieljochbahn cable car in the Spieljoch ski area in Fügen is about 4 km from the guesthouse. The nearest cross-country ski trail is only about 200 m away. A hiking trail in direct sight of the accommodation invites you to enjoy pleasant winter hikes.

In the summer months, the hotel is an ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. The hiking area with the Zillertal hiking trail is located directly at the guesthouse. The Zillertal cycle path can be reached in about 100m.

The friendly, family-run Gasthof Jäger offers its guests 22 comfortably furnished accommodation units. The guesthouse also has a welcoming lobby, a reception, a lounge with TV, and a terrace that is also open in winter. For culinary enjoyment, there is an à la carte restaurant and another restaurant. For winter sports equipment, there is a lockable ski and snowboard storage room accessible from the guesthouse, as well as a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer.

The traditionally furnished Double Rooms Falkennest with 1 possible extra bed (Z1C, approx. 20-30 m²) feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and integrated radio, direct dial telephone, shower, toilet, hairdryer, and a balcony. Single Room

The traditionally furnished rooms (E, approx. 15-18 m²) feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and integrated radio, shower, toilet, hairdryer, and a balcony. The rooms consist of a bedroom with a fixed single bed.

Family Room

The traditionally furnished rooms (DF2) feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and integrated radio, shower, toilet, hairdryer, and a balcony. The rooms consist of a bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed.

Meals

Half Board (Winter)

Meals begin with dinner on the day of arrival and end with breakfast on the day of departure.
Daily extensive breakfast buffet with organic corner, fresh fruit, coffee specialties, and breakfast eggs, in the evening a 3-course menu including salad buffet, vegetarian options available on request, gluten- and lactose-free meals available for an extra charge on site (approx. €5 per person/day).
Especially in winter: 4-course New Year's Eve gala dinner included.

Hotel service

Linen change is not scheduled within the first 7 days. For bookings of 7 nights or more, it will be changed weekly.

Ski information:
Ski area Ski Optimal-Hochzillertal: Altitude: approx. 650-2,100 m. The TOP winter sports area Ski Optimal-Hochzillertal with its perfectly groomed slopes offers a race course. But not only skiers will get their money's worth here, as the area is considered a cross-country skiing paradise with approx. 40 km of classic cross-country trails. Of course, after a long day of skiing, there are also various options for well-deserved après-ski. A toboggan run also promises lots of fun.
