Location

Ried im Zillertal offers the ideal setting for a varied holiday in the Tyrolean Alps. The Hotel Alpina (approx. 588 m above sea level) is located just 300 m from the town center. Cafés, restaurants, and shopping facilities are easily accessible on foot.
In summer, numerous hiking and cycling trails in the surrounding area invite you to enjoy activities in nature. The Hochzillertal hiking area is easily accessible by hiking bus (for a fee). A cycling path runs directly by the hotel. For cooling off, visit the outdoor pool in Stumm (approx. 1.5 km) or the swimming lake in Schlitters (approx. 10 km). The nearby towns of Kaltenbach and Fügen also offer further leisure and excursion options.

The 4-star Hotel Alpina, partially renovated in 2023, features 50 units and offers a lobby with seating, a reception, a lounge, and an e-bike charging station. Dining options include a breakfast room, the main restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant, and a traditional "Stüberl". The public hotel bar "Pina's" invites you to end the day in a cozy atmosphere. For relaxation, a terrace (which can also be used in winter) and a garden are available. Cyclists benefit from a lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

Double room

The double rooms, type "Hochzillertal" or "Hamberg" (approx. 21-23 m²), consist of a bedroom with a double bed, an extra bed, and a seating area, as well as a bathroom with a shower or bathtub, WC, hairdryer, and vanity mirror. The rooms feature flat-screen satellite TVs, direct-dial telephones (wake-up call possible), radio, and a balcony or terrace (D). Also bookable for single occupancy (DE).

With the same features as the double rooms, these rooms include a total of two extra beds (DA).

Suite

The suite "Typ Ziller" (approx. 45 m²) consists of a bedroom with a double bed and a living room with a bunk bed or double bed and an extra bed, a seating area, and a bathroom with a shower or bathtub, separate WC, hairdryer, and vanity mirror. The bright suites feature a safe, 2 flat-screen cable TVs, a direct-dial telephone (wake-up call possible), a radio, and a balcony (S2).

Half board

Welcome drink, daily rich breakfast buffet with regional products, evening 5-course set menu (4 choices for the main course), 2 soups from the buffet, appetizer and salad buffet, main course, dessert, and Tyrolean cheese board from the buffet.
Board starts on the day of arrival with dinner and ends on the day of departure with breakfast.

Hochzillertal ski area:
Altitude: approx. 600-2,350 m
The 3 towns of Fügen, Hochfügen, and Kaltenbach jointly form the Hochzillertal ski area, where only one ski pass is required for all locations. The winter sports area with its wide, perfectly groomed slopes is suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages and features practice lifts for beginners, freeriding opportunities, and various snow-making facilities. Various refreshment stops near the slopes offer warming drinks and meals. You are especially welcome at the Kristallhütte or the Wedelhütte. The Snowpark "Betterpark" promises lots of fun.

Coming from Munich via the A8 motorway at the Inntaldreieck junction towards Innsbruck, continue on the A12 to the Wiesing/Zillertal exit, through the Brettfall tunnel onto the B169 Zillertal federal road, drive approx. 18 km straight ahead to the exit "Skizentrum Hochzillertal/Ried/Kaltenbach". Hotel Alpina is located approx. 200 m after the traffic light on the left side of the road.
