Location

The 4-star Hotel Post is located at 1,365 m above sea level in the picturesque high valley of Nauders in Tyrol, surrounded by an impressive mountain panorama, untouched nature, and not far from the three-country corner of Austria-Switzerland-Italy. Between the Reschen Pass in the south and the Finstermünz Pass in the north, the hotel offers a fantastic panoramic location above the Inn Valley.
In winter, you benefit from the proximity to the popular Bergkastel Nauders ski area with 75 perfectly groomed kilometers of slopes - only approx. 2 km away and easily accessible by ski bus, which stops directly in front of the hotel.
In summer, numerous hiking and biking routes start right outside the door. The historic Naudersberg Castle is only about 300 m away and invites you to a cultural discovery tour. For a cool-down on hot days, the public outdoor pool in Pfunds (approx. 15 km) or the idyllically located Rieder Badesee (approx. 29 km) are ideal.

The traditional and family-run 4-star Hotel Post is one of the oldest and most charming hotels in Nauders. With great attention to detail, it skillfully combines historical flair with modern comfort. Guests can expect a stylish reception area with a reception, elevator, cozy parlors, an inviting fireplace room, and a lounge with a TV – ideal for relaxing after an active day. The hotel bar and its own restaurant will spoil you with regional specialties and international cuisine. In the warmer months, our spacious sun terrace invites you to linger. The hotel has a total of 54 comfortable rooms that combine alpine coziness with modern comfort.
A spacious wellness area with an indoor pool, various saunas, and relaxation rooms ensures recovery – the perfect place to switch off and recharge your batteries.
In winter, skiers benefit from a practical ski room with a ski boot dryer.

Double Room Fuhrmann

This approx. 30 m² room (D) offers modern comfort in an alpine ambiance. It features a bathroom with a bathtub, a separate toilet, and free Wi-Fi, cable/satellite TV, radio, safe, telephone, refrigerator, bathrobe, slippers, and hairdryer. The sleeping area is equipped with a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed. A balcony invites you to relax with a view of the mountains.

Double Room Kutscher II

The Kutscher II double room (DA), renovated in 2018, measures approx. 30 m² and is comfortably furnished with a box-spring double bed, a pull-out sofa bed (160x200 cm), and an open-plan bathroom with a walk-in shower and a partially separate toilet. It also includes free Wi-Fi, cable TV, radio, safe, telephone, refrigerator, bathrobe, slippers, and hairdryer. A balcony with a magnificent view completes the offer.

Single Room Hufschmied

The Hufschmied single room (E), approx. 20 m², was also renovated in 2018 and offers a comfortable double bed, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, as well as the usual amenities including free Wi-Fi, cable/satellite TV, radio, safe, telephone, refrigerator, bathrobe, slippers, and hairdryer. There is no balcony in this room, but it offers a quiet, cozy atmosphere.
