Location

The alpine and inviting Aktivhotel Feichtner Hof combines typical hospitality with a special ambiance, making it the ideal accommodation for a holiday in the Austrian mountain landscape. The hotel is quietly and sunnily located on the outskirts of Feichten in Kaunertal. Numerous activities and leisure opportunities are available in the vicinity, such as the Quellalpin-Center with a swimming pool, indoor activities like a fitness studio or bouldering hall, and outdoor activities like beach volleyball (approx. 300 m away). The Kaunertal Glacier is about 15 km away. The "Knappensteig" adventure trail is easily accessible on foot in summer.
Especially in winter:
Right next to the hotel, there is a beginner's ski lift, a conveyor belt, and a cable lift for the little ones. A special highlight for children is that those born in 2018 or later receive a free ski pass. Numerous winter hiking trails, a illuminated toboggan run, and the 25 km cross-country ski trail network are also easily reachable from the Feichtnerhof within a few minutes' walk. Skiing fun can be found at the Kaunertal Glacier (approx. 18 km) or in the Fendels family ski area (approx. 13 km).

Facilities

The traditional accommodation with a modern touch offers its guests a total of 44 comfortable rooms, which are bright and furnished with alpine design elements and local products, conveying the perfect holiday feeling. A large part of them were lovingly rebuilt or renovated between 2020 and 2023. All new rooms have a balcony with a view of the impressive Kaunertal mountain world and were furnished with great attention to detail using regional Swiss stone pine or (old wood) spruce. Further facilities include a bar & restaurant, a cozy lounge, an elevator, and a sun/café terrace with loung chairs and umbrellas. The restaurant is a culinary experience for all senses with a variety of Austrian and international dishes, providing a true feast for the palate. For special relaxation for body & mind, visit the hotel's own wellness area with a sauna. For those who prefer something more active, there is a fitness studio to work out in.

Double Room Gletscher (Summer)

The bright and cozy double room features a bathtub or shower, partly separate toilet, hairdryer, cable TV, radio, safe, a balcony in some rooms, and a rental bathrobe for adults (approx. 30m², D).

Double Room Erspenblick (Summer 25)

These modern rooms, with otherwise similar amenities, have a balcony and additionally a sofa bed, and are more spacious (approx. 35m², DA).

Double Room Ögg-Zirbe (Summer)

These completely newly designed rooms are slightly smaller and suitable for 2 people. They also have a shower, a separate toilet, and a balcony (approx. 27m², DB).

Junior Suite (Summer)

The "Adlerblick" Junior Suite offers ample space and, in addition to the double bed, has a fold-out extra bed, a seating area, and a balcony or small conservatory (approx. 40m², JS2).

Single Room

The single rooms are double rooms for single occupancy, but only some have a balcony (approx. 22 m², E).

Double Room Balcony (Winter, Summer 26)

The cozy double rooms with a balcony (approx. 23-30 m², DBK) are equipped with a double bed, seating area, bath/shower and toilet, hairdryer, TV, and safe.

Family Room (Winter, Summer 26)

With approx. 35 m², the family rooms offer more space and, in addition to the double bed, have a sofa bed, bath or shower/toilet, and a balcony (DF2).

Family Room Loggia

These family rooms are slightly larger at approx. 40 m² and feature a double bed, a sofa bed, a small refrigerator, a seating area, a bathroom/toilet, a small conservatory/loggia (heated), and an extra bed (2FA).
