Location

Spend a unique holiday in Ellmau. The Tirol Lodge accommodation is located around 1 km from the center. Cafés and restaurants are right next to the property. In Going, approximately 5.5 km away, a picturesque swimming lake awaits all water lovers. You can also cool off on hot summer days at the public outdoor pool Kaiserbad Ellmau, about 2.7 km away.
In summer, the accommodation is the ideal starting point for hikes. Go on excursions into the beautiful landscape of your holiday region. A hiking bus (free of charge) will take you to the directly adjacent hiking area. The hiking bus stop is about 50 m away. The Hartkaiserbahn cable car is located directly at the property.
The 9 towns of Ellmau, Söll, Scheffau, Going, Westendorf, Brixen im Thale, Kelchsau, Hopfgarten, and Itter together form the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental ski area, for which only one ski pass is needed for all locations. The TOP winter sports area with its perfectly groomed slopes extends to a snow-sure altitude and offers deep snow slopes, a race course, various snow-making facilities, and a magnificent panorama. It also has a clear piste map with detailed information boards. Due to its children's area, it is ideal for children's first skiing attempts. With the floodlights on, the slope can also be wonderfully skied at night. But it's not just skiers who get their money's worth here, as the area is considered a cross-country skiing Eldorado with approx. 70 km of classic cross-country ski trails. Those who want to send holiday greetings directly from the slopes to their friends and acquaintances will also find Wi-Fi hotspots in the ski area for this purpose. Various inns and, of course, après-ski options provide for conviviality off the slopes and for warming drinks and snacks in between. 5 snow parks also promise a lot of fun. Sledding on the Going toboggan run (approx. 1.5 km away) is also a special kind of fun.

Built in 2018, the Tirol Lodge offers a total of 171 residential units, a welcoming lobby with seating areas, a reception, an e-car charging station, and a lounge. Let yourself be pampered kulinarically in the restaurant. You can end an eventful day of vacation in good company at the hotel bar. A terrace is also available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's own bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.
