Location

Experience a unique holiday in your holiday region Styria. The non-smoking hotel Kielhuberhof (in a panoramic location at approx. 1,000 m) is located about 3 km from the center of Ramsau am Dachstein. Cafés and restaurants are about 1 km away, and the nearest shops are approximately 3 km from your holiday accommodation. Take a trip to the surrounding area – our tip: Dachstein Glacier (approx. 7 km from your accommodation).
Look forward to pure skiing fun, cross-country ski tours in winter landscapes, and extensive winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the timetable on-site) takes you directly to the Planai/Schladming ski area. The ski bus stop is about 50 m from the house. A practice lift (approx. 5 km away) is available for beginner skiers. The Planaibahn cable car in the Planai/Schladming ski area is about 3 km from the house. Cross-country skiers also get their money's worth. The total cross-country ski trail length is approx. 150 km, and the nearest trail (Leitenloipe) is only about 50 m away. Those who want to enjoy the scenic beauty of the region during pleasant winter hikes have an extensive network of trails with a total length of about 100 km, with the popular Leitenrunde hiking trail just about 50 m away.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes. A hiking bus (free) takes you to the directly adjacent hiking area with a hiking trail network of approx. 100 km in total and the Buchenweg trail. The bus stop for the hiking bus can be reached quickly and easily. The Planaibahn cable car is also about 3 km away. You can get active on a cycle path about 3 km away while enjoying the scenery at the same time.

Facilities

The comfortable 4-star Hotel Kielhuberhof offers, in addition to a total of 30 accommodation units, a welcoming reception area with seating, a reception desk, and a terrace, as well as the beautiful "Wellness-Vital" wellness area (approx. 120 m²), which includes an organic sauna, an outdoor sauna, a steam bath, and an experience shower. For your physical well-being, there is a breakfast room, a restaurant, and the hotel bar, as well as the "Kaminstube" lounge. Cyclists can use the hotel's lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted in the entire hotel area.
For your winter sports equipment, a lockable ski and snowboard storage room accessible from the house and a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer are available.

The traditionally furnished and modern non-smoking rooms (D1K, approx. 19 m²) have satellite TV, a seating area, shower, toilet, hairdryer, and a balcony. The rooms consist of a sleeping area with a double bed.

Family Room (bookable in summer)

The traditionally furnished family rooms (DF2, approx. 45 m²) offer, with otherwise similar amenities to the double rooms, additional sleeping possibilities (DF2).

Double Room with 2 extra beds

With otherwise similar amenities to the double rooms with one extra bed, these rooms offer an additional sofa bed in addition to the extra bed (Z2D, approx. 26 m²).

Comfort Double Room with 1 extra bed

The comfort double rooms have similar amenities to the double rooms, but are larger at approx. 26m² and have a double bed as well as a fixed single bed (Z1C).

Especially in winter:
Ski Amadé Planai ski area: altitude: approx. 745-1,894 m. The top ski area Ski Amadé Planai with its wide slopes is suitable for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels due to its snow-sure altitude and offers a race course, various snow-making facilities, and a magnificent panorama. The youngest skiers can experience a lot in the children's area. Various huts invite you for a break near the slopes. A snow park and a toboggan run also promise a lot of fun.
