Hotel Der Schmittenhof is located at the foot of the Schmittenhöhe, making it the perfect starting point for numerous summer activities such as hiking, cable car rides, or a swim in the Zeller See. True to the motto, "Arrive and feel good," the hotel is ideally suited for hiking and nature fans as well as couples and families. The town center of Zell am See, with its cafes, restaurants, and shops, is about 1.5 km away (approx. 5 minutes by car). Connections are available to Zell am See train station (approx. 1.5 km) or Salzburg Airport (SZG, approx. 80 km).

Double Room Type A

These rooms are more spacious (approx. 25m²) and have a double bed as well as a sofa bed for 2 people. Additionally, there is a free safe and a seating area. Otherwise, they are equipped similarly to the double room (DA).

Family Room

The family rooms are approximately 32m² and have a bedroom with a double bed and a living/sleeping room with a sofa bed for 2 people. Otherwise, the equipment is similar to the double room Type A (DF2).

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1st, 2025 onwards, there will be a new levy, the "Mobility Tax." The fee will be collected in parallel with the local tax per overnight stay and will be used for the expansion of transportation.
