Welcome to Zell am See! The lively town is located at the foot of the Schmittenhöhe. Numerous shopping opportunities, the distinctive town center, and an extensive selection of restaurants make this state-recognized health resort a wonderful holiday destination. In addition, there are some interesting day trip destinations in the vicinity of Zell am See waiting for your visit. For example, the Tauern Spa Kaprun thermal baths, 8 km away, are particularly recommended. In winter, ice skating and ice stock sport are just a few of the activities you can enjoy. The nearest ski lift is only about 500m away. A beginner's practice lift is also only about 200m away. Cross-country ski trails and winter hiking trails are also nearby.
The HAIDVOGL MAVIDA Zell am See is located amidst the spectacular mountain scenery of the Austrian Alps, a few minutes' walk from the valley station of the Schmittenhöhe ski and hiking area, and not far from the crystal-clear Lake Zell. This special location makes it the ideal starting point for excursions to the surrounding highlights, whether in summer or winter!

In winter:
Schmitten-Zell am See ski area: Altitude: approx. 750-1,965 m. The Schmitten-Zell am See winter sports area with its perfectly groomed slopes offers freeriding opportunities and a race course. But it's not just skiers who get their money's worth here, as the area is considered a cross-country skiing paradise with approx. 48 km of classic cross-country ski trails. Après-ski allows you to round off an exciting day of winter sports in good company. A snow park promises plenty of fun.
