Location

Centrally located in the beautiful old town of Zell am See, the ultra-modern Hotel Neue Post is connected to the pedestrian zone and thus close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The hotel is an ideal base for combining city life and nature; the breathtaking mountains and the crystal-clear lake invite you to participate in numerous activities such as hiking or cycling. The Zell am See lido is also only about 600 m away; alternatively, there is the Ebenberg lift, approx. 5 minutes' walk away. There is a connection to the Zell am See train station (approx. 200 m).
Especially in winter:
The Hotel Neue Post is centrally located in the old town of Zell am See, only a 5-minute walk from the Ebenberg lift and the CityXpress cable car, which leads directly to the Schmittenhöhe ski area.
The Zell am See-Schmittenhöhe ski area offers around 77 kilometers of slopes of all difficulty levels. The highest point is at 1,965 m. There are 28 lifts, including gondolas, chairlifts, and T-bar lifts. The ski area is known for its panoramic runs with a view of Lake Zell. In addition, the Ski Alpin Card offers the possibility of accessing a total of 408 kilometers of slopes in the Schmittenhöhe, Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn, and Kitzsteinhorn-Kaprun ski areas. In addition to the groomed slopes, there are freeride routes and a funslope, snow conditions permitting.

The hosts of the Hotel Neue Post combine traditional hospitality with a fresh vibe, placing value on a mix of relaxation and partying, city flair and nature, as well as culinary arts and culture. The hotel was freshly renovated in 2024 and features stylish rooms and apartments, as well as a wide range of gastronomic offerings with a trendy restaurant, a cozy lobby bar, and an inviting café. Maximum relaxation is provided by the 800 m² wellness area with sauna, steam bath, and fitness room, as well as a garden with a sun terrace and outdoor/whirlpool. Wi-Fi is available free of charge at all times to stay connected.

These rooms with many wooden details are somewhat more spacious and additionally have a balcony and a room safe (approx. 25m², DB).

Double room "Green Forest"

The stylish rooms without a balcony offer space for 2-3 people; here, the box-spring bed can also be separated (approx. 26m², DA).

These bright and generously sized rooms are suitable for families and feature a balcony or terrace, a seating area, a sound system, and a magnificent view from the first or second floor (approx. 35m², DC). Optionally also bookable for 2 adults + 2 children (DI).
