The centre of Zell am See is approx. 2.5 km away; bars, restaurants, and a shopping centre are in the immediate vicinity. The Areitbahn cable car, providing access to the hiking paradise, is approx. 300m away.
Especially in winter:
The Areitbahn cable car, gateway to the Zell am See/Saalbach/Hinterglemm ski area, and the ski slope are approx. 300m from the hotel. A cross-country ski trail is approx. 500m away, ski bus approx. 100m, and ski school approx. 300m.

Facilities

The traditional hotel with 70 rooms impresses with its warm hospitality and a wide range of dining options in the restaurant with an extensive buffet, the pizzeria "Papa Rudolfo", in the beer garden, "Kathi's Café & Bar", as well as "Uno" Bar & Lounge. The "Vulcano Spa" wellness area offers pure relaxation with moments of tranquility in the sauna area or the panorama relaxation room with a direct view of the Kitzsteinhorn. The hotel also features an inviting reception area, a lounge, a lift, a sun terrace, and a sunbathing lawn with loungers and parasols. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel. Check-in is at the reception of the adjacent Hotel Latini.

Double Room

The comfortable "Areit" rooms feature a cozy double bed (1.60m wide), a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, rental bathrobes for adults and children, and a wellness bag with towels and slippers. They also include a rental safe, cable TV, Wi-Fi, radio, and some have a balcony (approx. 20m², D).

Double Room Superior

The spacious and simply furnished "Superior Schmittenhöhe" rooms are slightly larger and offer a double bed and a sofa bed (approx. 22-25m², DSU).

Single Room

The traditional rooms for solo travelers are equipped similarly to the double rooms, but are slightly smaller and have a single bed measuring 1.20m wide (approx. 15m², E).

Junior Suite

The 2-room "Kitzsteinhorn" Junior Suite offers plenty of space for families and is equipped with a living/sleeping area with a double sofa bed and a separate bedroom with a double bed. There is a connecting door between the two rooms (approx. 35m², JS2).
