Location

The accommodation in Rennweg am Katschberg enjoys a special location on the border between the federal states of Carinthia and Salzburg and is an attractive destination in both winter and summer, especially for families with children. Skiers and winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy the proximity to the Katschberg ski area, which offers numerous slopes for every skill level. The hotel is situated at an altitude of approximately 1,600 meters, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and a wide range of alpine activities. Another highlight is the Katschberg cable car with a newly built mountain playground located directly at the summit station of the Aineckbahn at an altitude of 2,200 m. The immediate proximity to the "Kärntner Nockberge" and "Hohe Tauern" national parks offers numerous excursion destinations and the opportunity for outdoor activities such as extensive hiking and mountain biking tours.
Especially in winter:
The extensive "Katschi" ski area, with a total of 17 state-of-the-art lift systems and 80 km of slopes of all difficulty levels, is considered extremely snow-sure and sunny. Snowboarders also enjoy numerous opportunities to glide through the snow. A ski school is located directly at the accommodation. The nearest lift is approximately 50 m away.

Apartment Bergnest

The "Bergnest" apartments, featuring traditional wooden furnishings with colorful accents, consist of two separate bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed or sofa bed. The rest of the equipment is similar to the double rooms (approx. 38m², AP).

Apartment Sternenhimmel

The "Sternenhimmel" apartments are even more spacious and similarly equipped to the Bergnest apartments. A special highlight in these rooms is that some feature a slide or a climbing wall for children, and the bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and WC (approx. 45m², A12).
