As soon as the first snowflakes fall, Rauris shows its wintry splendor with its glistening white landscape. Skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing are just a few of the activities you can pass the time with. The snow-covered landscape can now be admired particularly well on a cozy winter hike or a ski tour.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. A hiking area is located directly at the hotel. The Rauris mountain lift can be reached after approx. 900 m. On a cycle path located directly at the house, you can be physically active and enjoy the landscape at the same time.

The comfortable 4-star Hotel Ferienwelt Kristall offers you a total of 65 rooms, an inviting lobby with seating, a reception, a lounge, an indoor pool, and a beautiful wellness area (approx. 800 m²) including a sauna, stone sauna, whirlpool, and steam bath. NEW from summer 2025: For all guests staying overnight in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there is a new levy, the "mobility levy". The fee is charged in parallel with the local tax per overnight stay and goes towards the expansion of transport. Rauriser Hochalmbahnen ski area: Elevation: approx. 950-2,200 m. The Rauriser Hochalmbahnen winter sports area, particularly popular with families, with its wide, perfectly groomed slopes, is considered an Eldorado for snowboarders and skiers. It also has a clear piste map with detailed information boards. But it is not only the skiers who get their money's worth here; cross-country skiers can also really let off steam on approx. 30 km of classic cross-country trails. Whether hot tea or a cool beer – various huts and après-ski options invite you to stop for a bite to eat and a sociable drink during and after a long day of winter sports. The Rauris Snowpark also promises plenty of fun.

Coming from Salzburg, take the A10 and exit at the Knoten Pongau/Bischofshofen exit. Here, change to the B311 and follow the road for approx. 27 km, then turn right. From there, continue onto Embacher Landesstraße, drive for approx. 4.8 km, and follow the signs to the center of Rauris.
