Location

The modern, family-run hotel is located in the Fürth district, just 3 km from the center of Kaprun. Kaprun is situated in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park holiday region, surrounded by impressive mountains, clear lakes, and glaciers. It is the perfect starting point for numerous outdoor activities such as cycling, mountain biking, hiking, and mountaineering. The Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area is about 10 km away, and Lake Zell is approx. 5 km away. The Tauern Spa thermal baths in Kaprun can be reached in 3 km, Zell am See train station is approx. 7 km away, and Salzburg Airport is around 85 km away.

Facilities

The charming, family-run 3-star Hotel Kawuun consists of two interconnected hotel parts, one of which was completely renovated in 2021. The hotel offers a friendly atmosphere and good amenities, including a reception, an elevator, and free Wi-Fi throughout the building. The hotel's own restaurant with a breakfast room and bar ensures your well-being. Guests can relax in the lounge or the library, while children can have fun in the playroom or on the playground.

The Kitz double room (D, approx. 27m²) features a double bed made of local spruce wood, a cozy sofa bed (extendable), a bathroom with shower and toilet (partially separate toilet), hairdryer, balcony, folding TV, telephone, free Wi-Fi, and a desk. The room is located in the west wing of the building.

Standard Double Room

The Standard Double Room (DS, approx. 18m²) features a double bed, bathroom with shower/toilet, hairdryer and vanity mirror, balcony/French balcony, flat-screen TV, telephone, free Wi-Fi, desk, room safe, and a small refrigerator. The room is also located in the newly renovated part of the building.

Panorama Double Room

The Panorama Double Room (PAD, approx. 27m²) features a double bed, a sofa bed (extendable for up to 2 people), a seating area, a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet, hairdryer and vanity mirror, a balcony with panoramic mountain views, flat-screen TV and telephone, free Wi-Fi, a desk, room safe, a small refrigerator, and is located in the newly renovated part of the building.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Room (DD2, approx. 27m²) has the same amenities as the Panorama Double Room, but is located on the second floor of the newly renovated part of the building.
