NEW from summer 2025: For all guests staying in the State of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there is a new levy, the "mobility levy". The fee is charged in parallel with the local tax per overnight stay and goes towards the expansion of public transport. In return, all guests receive free use of public transport at the holiday destination. The levy must be paid regardless of the use of public transport.
