Location

Nestled picturesquely at the foot of the Großvenediger, the VENEDIGER LODGE hotel impresses with its unique location in the Salzach Valley within the Hohe Tauern National Park. In winter, it is a popular destination for skiers and snowboarders, as the Wildkogel-Arena ski area and the Hohe Tauern National Park are nearby, catering to both beginners and advanced winter sports enthusiasts. A ski school and ski rental are located approx. 200 m away, and a free ski bus transports guests to the slopes.
In summer, the surrounding area is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, or simply enjoying the spectacular mountain scenery. The accommodation itself is located slightly outside the village center, allowing guests to relax amidst tranquil nature while still being able to quickly reach the center with its shops, restaurants, and bars.

The hotel exudes an alpine charm with its use of wood and natural materials, ensuring guests feel completely at home and immersed in the holiday spirit from the moment they arrive. The VENEDIGER LODGE welcomes guests into a spacious lobby with a reception desk, available for any questions or requests. On pleasant days, guests can also relax on the "Schweinis Saustark" sun terrace and soak up the sun's rays. For even more culinary enjoyment, there are various dining areas with excellent cuisine, including the à la carte "Venedigerstub'n'', Burgeria, or Schweini’s Downhill Bar 'Flammkuchenmeisterei', as well as a stylish bar serving creative cocktails in a relaxed atmosphere, and a café. The very spacious apartments with panoramic views feature a wardrobe, a living room with a double sofa bed, 3 bedrooms each with a double bed, and 3 bathrooms with showers and some with separate toilets. "Deluxe Zwölferkogel"
With a south or southwest orientation and decorated in a cozy wood-optic style, these apartments offer a wardrobe, a combined living/sleeping area with a double sofa bed, two separate bedrooms with double beds, and two bathrooms with shower/WC. There is also a balcony or terrace, a dining table for 6 people, and 3 flat-screen TVs (approx. 72m², A2D)

Wildalm Suite

2-room suite type "Wildalm"
The extremely comfortable suites feature a living/sleeping area with a double sofa bed, a dining table for 4 people, a separate bedroom with a double bed, and a total of 2 flat-screen TVs, and are located on the north side. Each suite category also has a cozy balcony or terrace (approx. 40m², S2).

Wildalm Deluxe Suite

The Deluxe suites are slightly more spacious and are located on the west side, otherwise they have the same amenities as the Wildalm Suite (approx. 43m², S2D).

The extremely comfortable Comfort Wildalm suites feature a living/sleeping area with a double sofa bed, a dining table for 4 people, a separate bedroom with a double bed, and a total of 2 flat-screen TVs, and are located on the north side. Each suite category also has a cozy balcony or terrace (approx. 40m², CSU).

Wildalm Premium Suite (Winter)

Facing south, this suite offers the most space and similar amenities to the other suites (approx. 50m², RE2).

Zwölferkogel Comfort Apartment (Winter)

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the Salzburg region from May 1, 2025, there will be a new levy, the "Mobility Tax." The fee will be levied concurrently with the local tax per overnight stay and will contribute to the expansion of transportation. In return, all guests will receive free use of public transport in their holiday destination. The levy must be paid regardless of the use of public transport.
