Hotel Bergheimat captivates with its unique location high above Mühlbach, below the imposing Hochkönig massif, and offers an incredible panorama of the surrounding mountains. In summer, it is the ideal accommodation for hiking tours or a dip in the lake, while in winter, ski fans can enjoy slopes for every level nearby. The center of Mühlbach with numerous restaurants, bars, and cafes is approx. 3 km away, and a hiking bus stop with a free hiking bus is approx. 5 minutes away on foot.
In winter, the hotel is the ideal place for a variety of winter sports activities such as skiing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, as well as snowshoeing and winter hiking. The free ski bus to the Hochkönig ski area also stops directly in front of the hotel. The center of Mühlbach is 3 km away. Nearest ski lift approx. 3 km away.

In the 35 comfortable rooms and suites, guests can enjoy peace and connection with nature and be thoroughly pampered by the hosts, who place great importance on comfort and individual service. The kitchen team conjures up culinary highlights in the restaurant using fresh, regional ingredients to create creative traditional and internationally renowned dishes. After an active day, the wellness area with a sauna and indoor pool offers pure relaxation for body and mind. The family-run hotel preserves tradition with alpine materials throughout the house while also incorporating new and modern impulses that particularly enhance the feel-good atmosphere. Double room Birgkar

The comfortably furnished rooms have a bathroom with a bathtub and a separate toilet with a bidet. Basic amenities include a seating area, minibar, safe, telephone, radio, and cable TV. These double rooms are located in the older part of the house and are characterized by simple, rustic coziness. These rooms do not have a balcony (approx. 24m², D).

Double room Hochkeil

These double rooms are located in the older part of the house and are furnished in a rustic country house style. They feature a double bed and a balcony with a valley or Hochkönig view (approx. 24-28m², DA). Optionally available for single use (DEA) or for single occupancy with a child (D1K).

Comfort double room

The cozy comfort rooms, "Schneeberg," feature bright furnishings and a south-facing balcony with a breathtaking valley view. They also include a double bed and a pull-out sofa bed for two people (approx. 28-30m², DKO).

Junior Suite

The junior suite "Hochkönig" impresses with natural fir wood furniture and a living/sleeping area, where the living area with a sofa bed for two people can be separated from the sleeping area by a sliding door. Additionally, the junior suites have a tiled stove, a seating area, wooden floors, a whirlpool, and a balcony (approx. 46-49m², JS2).
