Hotel Bachschmied is centrally located in one of Austria's most beautiful family ski areas, the Hochkönig ski resort in Maria Alm. The Schwarzeckalmbahn ski lift and the Sinalcobahn cable car provide access to the skiing fun. Alternatively, there are also wonderful hiking and walking trails, as well as adventurous mountain bike paths to actively enjoy nature.
Especially in winter:
In a prime location, right in the middle of the ski area (Maria Alm, Hintermoos, Hinterthal, Dienten, and Mühlbach) of "König's Winter Realm," one of the most beautiful ski resorts in the Salzburger Land. The Hochkönig Winter Realm features 33 modern, interconnected, state-of-the-art lifts and 120 kilometers of slopes. Guests can ski directly to and from the hotel (SKI IN and SKI OUT).

Facilities

The family-run hotel welcomes guests in an inviting lobby with a reception area, after which they can settle into their comfortable and bright rooms and enjoy their arrival on vacation. Culinary delights await in the restaurant, which is divided into three areas, in the bistro across the street, "Riverside," with its sun terrace, or at the hotel bar with a delicious drink. Events such as après-ski are celebrated here and are popular with winter sports guests after a day on the slopes. For the best relaxation of body and mind, there is an elegant wellness area with a sauna and relaxation zone.
