Location

The Core Kaprun (formerly Das Falkenstein Kaprun) is situated in a quiet, natural setting, approximately 1.7 km from the center of Kaprun. In the winter months, the region is a true paradise for skiing and snow enthusiasts. A ski bus stops in the immediate vicinity (approx. 30 m away) and takes guests to nearby ski areas. A ski school with equipment rental is located approximately 1 km away. Various gondolas and mountain lifts are also suitable for immersing yourself in winter fun: Lechnerberg lift (approx. 1.2 km), Maiskogel lift with access to the gondola system connecting directly to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier (approx. 2.2 km), or the Areitbahn cable car (approx. 5 km).

The very modern Core Kaprun hotel is a family-friendly 4-star hotel with a total of 40 stylish rooms that blend alpine tradition with contemporary design in a rustic format. In addition to an inviting reception, there is the "Federspiel" restaurant and a trendy lobby with a lifestyle bar, all furnished with great attention to detail. To stay connected, free Wi-Fi can be used at any time. A spacious wellness area of approximately 1,000 m² provides relaxing moments after an active day and brings body and soul back into harmony. Comfort Double Room

The "Mansard" type double room without a balcony is ideal for 2 people and is equipped with a bed with a box-spring mattress (1.40m wide), shower/WC, sofa or corner bench, flat-screen TV, safe (included), bath bag with rental bathrobe (included), telephone, and Wi-Fi (included) in the mansard (approx. 20m², DKO).

Superior Double Room

The slightly more spacious Superior rooms consist of a balcony, a double bed or twin beds that can be separated, and an additional sofa bed. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, and there is a separate WC. A bath bag with a rental bathrobe for adults and children, flat-screen TV, telephone, safe, and Wi-Fi are included (approx. 26m², DSU).

Studio "Cloud 7"

The open-plan "Cloud 7" studio features a comfortable king-size bed (2x2 meters), a sofa bed, an open bathroom with shower and separate WC, and a balcony. A bath bag with a rental bathrobe, flat-screen TV (50 inches), telephone, safe, and Wi-Fi are also provided free of charge (approx. 32m², S12). Note: Only for this room category is it possible to add a baby cot for a fee of € 30.00 per stay.

Family Suite

The spacious family suites (approx. 40 m²) feature either a 2nd level accessible by a staircase, where a double bed is located, or a living/bedroom with a double pull-out sofa and a double room separated by a door with a double bed. Further amenities include bath or shower/WC, safe, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi, and balcony (2FS).

Active Base Double Room (from Winter 26-27)

The approx. 26 m² "Active Base" double rooms feature a double bed, a sofa bed, a seating area with a desk, a bathtub with an integrated shower/WC, flat-screen TV, radio integrated into the TV, safe, bath bag with wellness towels, bathrobe for adults and slippers, telephone, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace (D).

Studio Kitz (from Winter 26-27)

At approx. 32 m², the "Kitz" studios are slightly more spacious and equipped with a king-size bed, sofa bed, seating area with a desk, open bathroom with shower and separate WC, bath bag with wellness towels, rental bathrobe for adults and slippers, flat-screen TV (50 inches), telephone, safe, Wi-Fi, and balcony (S12).

Summit Suite (from Summer 2027)

These spacious suites are spread over two levels. With approx. 45 m², they offer ample space and are equipped with a living area with a double bed and sofa, seating, spiral staircase to the 2nd level with a sleeping area and double bed, bathtub/WC, wellness towels and bath slippers, rental bathrobe for adults, two flat-screen TVs, radio integrated into the TV, telephone, safe, Wi-Fi, and balcony (S2).

Alpin Flex Suite (from Summer 2027)

The 45 m² Alpin Flex suite also features a living area with a double pull-out sofa, seating, a separate bedroom with a double bed (separated by a door), bathtub with integrated shower, separate WC, care products, wellness bag with wellness towels and bath slippers, rental bathrobe for adults, 2x flat-screen TV, radio integrated into the TV, telephone, safe, Wi-Fi, and balcony (SA).
