Location

The Hotel & Gasthof Mitteregger is centrally located, just a few minutes away from the center of Kaprun. This makes it an ideal spot for hikers and nature lovers, while its proximity to numerous leisure activities also makes it perfect for families. Active holidaymakers can enjoy a wide range of mountain bike trails, hiking paths, golf courses, and water sports options in the Kaprun and Zell am See region. Facilities

This family-run traditional hotel features 39 modern or traditionally furnished rooms and offers a lobby with a lounge, a common room, and an elevator. Culinary delights are provided by the charming à-la-carte restaurant "Mitteregger Stube," additional restaurant areas for hotel guests, a breakfast garden, a cozy bar, and the popular café and sun terrace. Guests can relax on the 1,500m² lawn, which is equipped with lounge chairs and parasols.

Accommodation

Double room "Alpenrose"

The spacious "Alpenrose" double rooms, designed in a modern alpine style, feature a comfortable double bed, a bathroom with shower and WC, as well as a hairdryer, TV, radio, telephone, safe, and Wi-Fi (all free of charge). A bathrobe is available for rent at the reception for a fee of €6.00 per stay (approx. 19-25m², D).

Single room Single/Child

These small and cozy single rooms, suitable for one adult and one child, feature a single bed and a sofa bed, with some including a balcony (subject to availability upon arrival). Other amenities are similar to the double rooms (approx. 18m², E1K).

Double room "Enzian"

The more spacious "Enzian" double rooms feature a double bed plus a double pull-out sofa or a sofa bed and an extra bed. These rooms have a balcony, and the remaining amenities are similar to the "Alpenrose" double rooms (approx. 25-30m², DA).

2-room apartment type "Sonnenschein"

Especially suitable for families, these apartments have a minimum occupancy of 3 people and feature a combined living/sleeping area with a double bed, as well as a separate bedroom with two single beds or a double pull-out sofa, separated by a connecting door and including a balcony (approx. 30m², A12).

2-room studio type "Edelweiss"

With similar amenities and size as the apartment, these studios are distinguished by a living/sleeping room with a double pull-out sofa and seating area, and a separate double room with a double bed (S12).

NEW from Summer 2025: There is a new "mobility levy" for all guests staying in the Salzburg province from May 1st, 2025. The fee is charged per overnight stay in parallel with the local tax and is used to fund the expansion of transport networks. In return, all guests receive free use of public transport at the holiday destination. The levy must be paid regardless of whether public transport is actually used.
