Location

The Hotel Der Gollinger is idyllically situated amidst a fascinating mountain world offering numerous leisure activities for both summer and winter sports. Guests can directly access the ski slopes of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang with Fieberbrunn and can even ski back to the hotel. In summer, numerous hiking trails lead directly past the hotel from Saalbach Hinterglemm. The hotel is nevertheless in a quiet location, approx. 150m from the center with more shops. The Zwölferkogelbahn and Westgipfelbahn (approx. 200 m) are the entry points to the hiking paradise.
Especially in winter:
Prime location, Hinterglemm center approx. 50 m, ski descent to and from the hotel possible. Unterschwarzachbahn approx. 50 m, floodlit slope approx. 50 m, valley end cross-country ski trail approx. 700 m long with 4 km, ski bus and ski/boot rental approx. 50 m.

Facilities

The cozy and traditional hiking hotel welcomes its guests in a total of 37 rooms, which are modern and comfortably furnished with natural wood elements. The family-run establishment places great importance on its guests feeling completely at ease, ensuring culinary delights in the Gollinger Restaurant, the wine lounge, and the bar, as well as pure relaxation in the "AlpenOase" with a spa area, sauna, and a large relaxation area. Popular places to linger include the lobby with its fireplace corner, the hotel bar, and a sun terrace with "chillout" furniture. Wi-Fi usage is included throughout the hotel.

Double Room (Summer)

The modern and comfortable double rooms without a balcony offer a double bed, a bathroom with a bathtub or shower/toilet and hairdryer, a wellness bag, bathrobe, and slippers for adults (available at reception), TV, radio, safe, and Wi-Fi (approx. 25m², D).

Deluxe Double Room Reiterkogel (Summer)

The category "Reiterkogel" deluxe rooms are similar in equipment and size to the double rooms, but additionally feature a balcony (approx. 25m², DDA).

DZ Deluxe Tristkogel (Summer)

The slightly more spacious "Tristkogel" deluxe rooms have a balcony, a double bed, and a sofa bed or an extra bed, and a separate toilet in addition to the bathroom (approx. 30m², DD2).

Studio Deluxe Westgipfel

The studios, furnished with alpine elements, are similar to the DZ Deluxe rooms and offer a combined living/sleeping area with a double bed and a sofa bed, a separate toilet, and a balcony (approx. 30m², DX2).

Junior Suite Schattberg (Summer)

The bright and comfortable junior suites with a balcony are either north or south-facing and offer a combined living/sleeping area with a sofa bed and a separate bedroom with a double bed or an extra bed (approx. 35m², JS2).

Information

NEW from Summer 2025: For all guests staying in the state of Salzburg from May 1, 2025, there is a new charge, the "Mobility Tax". The fee will be levied parallel to the local tax per overnight stay and will flow into the expansion of transport. In return, all guests will receive free use of public transport at their holiday destination. The tax must be paid regardless of the use of public transport.
- The Mobility Tax is a legally enshrined tax and must be paid for all liable overnight stays.
