Experience beautiful days in Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße! This idyllic town is always worth a visit. Cozy bars, the impressive mountain scenery, and the quiet location make this a truly unique destination. Additionally, there are several interesting day-trip destinations to discover in the surroundings of Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße. A visit to Zell am See (approx. 8 km away), for example, is highly recommended. Enjoy the charm of nature, characterized by lush meadows and green forests. Pure nature can also be found in the Hohe Tauern National Park (access point located directly in the town).
In summer, the accommodation is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. The Schmittenhöhe hiking area is located right by the property, featuring the "Fuscher Höhenwanderweg" hiking trail. The hiking bus stop is approx. 200 m away. The Areitbahn mountain railway can also be reached after approx. 8 km. You can stay active on a bike path approx. 10 m away while enjoying the landscape.
In winter, the accommodation is particularly suitable for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, and those looking for extensive winter hikes. A free ski bus (according to the local schedule) takes you directly to the Schmittenhöhe and Kitzsteinhorn ski area. The ski bus stop is located approx. 250 m from the building. A practice lift is available for ski beginners (directly at the property). The Areitbahn mountain railway in the Zell am See/Schmitten ski area is about 8 km from the property. Another mountain railway (Schönleitenbahn) in the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski area is about 26 km away. The nearest cross-country ski trail (Fusch) is just approx. 100 m away. A hiking trail only about 100 m away invites you to take pleasant winter walks.

Accommodation facilities

The family-friendly Feriendorf Ponyhof, featuring 4 stars, offers a total of 40 residential units, an inviting lobby with seating, a reception, and a lounge with TV. Your accommodation is divided into two main buildings, "Elternhaus" (parents' house) and "Stammhaus" (main house), which are connected underground and are located approx. 50 m apart. Indulge in culinary delights at the restaurant or in the "Stüberl" (cozy lounge). You can end an eventful day of vacation in a convivial atmosphere at the hotel bar. Additionally, a terrace is available for relaxation. Cyclists can use the hotel's own lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is not permitted in the entire hotel area. In winter, a lockable, accessible ski and snowboard storage room as well as a heated ski boot room with a ski boot dryer are available for your winter sports equipment. SKI AREA INFO: The Zell am See-Kaprun ski area is a very extensive ski region, which also includes the Kitzsteinhorn, Schmittenhöhe, and Maiskogel ski regions. The variety of different slopes and runs, such as mogul slopes, deep snow runs, sunny slopes, family runs, and many more, provide the ideal conditions for everyone, whether a ski beginner or carving professional, to feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. Furthermore, the ski area offers snow parks for special variety and action. The ski area is known for its well-groomed slopes and snow reliability.
